Do some of y'all be responsible for y'all stuff well i am not responsible because i loose all my stuff. Well in the movie smalls wasn’t because he took his stepfather ball without permission. The other thing is that some people need to be responsible for the things that the got. Some of the people don’t have they parents to tell them when they can get out the house and when they can’t get out the house. I know some of y'all can answer to this because some of y'all loose all of y'all stuff. First,The main idea in this story is people need to be more responsible. Here are some details, the first one is that smalls will lose his stepfather ball.Smalls tries to get the ball back.Smalls got grounded for what he did.Benny he got the ball and gave it to smalls and when he got the ball benny took the ball and ran because the he didn’t know that he was going to get bit by the dog. Second,Main idea is that smalls need to stop taking things that don’t belong to him.The first detail is smalls didn’t have any friends.Smalls was a very nice and friendly person.Smalls always told his mom when he was leaving the house and when he was coming back in the house.
Many are rich many are poor many have money many don’t. Have you ever had a moment where you did something selfish for desperation of money and karma hit you right back with a right hook?. And felt regret towards yourself. In the short story “Why, You Reckon” the author uses irony and dialogue, to show the audience that money can't buy happiness.
“For What It’s Worth” relates strongly to the actions taking place. The emotions of Springfield were released in this song. Many people recognize the same emotions as Springfield. This relates to others because of the conflict and crime that is occurring. Buffalo does a wonderful job of describing the misery and suffering of the people.
I disagree with Lauren Slater’s theory that throughout a person's life, one will only surround themselves with ideas and people similar to their own because, it is easy to see that people enjoy controversy and over the course of our lives, our beliefs and ideas can change.
Jay MacLeod’s Ain’t No Makin It: Aspirations and Attainment in a Low-Income Neighborhood follows a group of boys from a low-income housing development called Clarendon Heights. MacLeod interviews the boys multiple times during their lifetime to understand if they remained in lower income areas with the same low aspirations. He follows two groups of boys called the Hallway Hangers due to always hanging around the school hallways and the Brothers. The predominantly white Hallway Hangers participate in a different subculture compared to the predominantly black Brothers. For the Hallway Hangers, their main purpose involves being bad. Their definition of bad involves drinking alcohol and consuming drugs on a regular basis. The Brothers remain active
I am covering the article, “Cool dudes: The denial of climate change among conservative white males in the United States by McCright and Dunlap (2011).
As a newly graduated journalist, Ben Woodward, from a third generation Cairns family, contributed in the latter part of the 90s and early in the new century used his considerable talent with words to inform the LGBT community and the general public about the latest gigs, and artists to listen to and look out for. His great interest in music helped to nourish his passion as a DJ.
In Dr. Suess’s story, “Oh, The Places You’ll Go”, he uses many messages to create an inspiring and motivating theme for the story. His most prevalent overall lesson, however, is that when you make good choices and choose to live merrily, then you will succeed in life. Throughout the story, Seuss references the path that you take and turns that you make many times to instill the idea that you have to be smart when making decisions. For example, on page 7, Seuss says, “You'll look up and down streets. Look 'em over with care...you're too smart to go down any not-so-good street.”. This gives the reader confidence that he or she can do the right thing. A bit later in the story, Seuss says, “should you turn left or right...or right-and-three-quarters?
Thank you for sharing the next installment of “Hey Trouble” with me. The chapters continued to be easy reading with nice pacing. The humor is definitely not wearing off in these chapters as Lexi’s insights and the community around her is a gold mine. A couple of lines I enjoyed in these chapters were, “I keep waking up expecting to be sealed again to the air mattress, leaking teaspoons of deep end onto Grandma’s faded rainbow striped sheets. (1)” and “The boy is in a deep squat of mourning over his lunch. (3)” Also, I enjoyed both the pool scene, and especially, the egg scene at the end of chapter 8. I laughed out loud at the unraveling of the action, “‘Not nice!’ he yells into the dusk. Then one by one he starts beaming eggs into Dana’s yard. A few whistle into the air before I hear Dana squawk in disbelief. (8)” Also, Joaquin’s introduction into the story and his place within his family dynamics was
Poetry is comprised of many forms and within each form, poets have created; stanzas, rhythm, images, symbolism, meter and meanings. Readers must read each poem and begin inductive reasoning to understand what is written. In using this reasoning, only then can the poem be explained. There are many different types of forms and a ballad is one of these poetic forms. It is usually made up of a basic construction of quatrain stanzas. The lines contain rhyme, and generally tell a story that can be compared to a song. In analyzing, Peter and John by Elinor Wylie, We Real Cool by Gwendolyn Brooks, Riverbanks Blues by Sterling A. Brown and The Cherry-tree Carol, author unknown, meanings are conveyed through their use of form, rhyme and the story

The indie film that takes in journey filled with unexpectable incidents. When i watch this movie I’m most amazed by the writing, characters development, acting, and the well-done surrealism inside ‘The Dude’s mind.
1. Can you think of a common stereotype of sociologists? What is it? After reading this box, do you still think it is valid?

To be honest, I procrastinated with writing this essay. Why, you ask? Because I really dislike writing essays. “But why again”, you ask? Well, because it takes up a lot of precious time. Time that I could be spending playing with my kids, watching TV, or enjoying myself. Not locking myself in a room hours at a time to avoid distraction and hoping that I come up with an essay that gets a passing grade.
"Oh, what an ugly baby." While it may be true, saying it aloud can get your eyes scratched out. "Yes, those jeans do make you look fat." Not even gonna think about touching that one. "Tell me the truth, what do you think?" Talk about hidden landmines - one misstep, and you're a goner. Instead of speaking our minds, sometimes we say things we don't really mean. It helps avoid conflict. Despite valiant efforts not to put a foot in our mouths, from time to time, we end up snacking on sweat socks and leather. When this happens, the best we can do is apologize and try to make amends.
