The mass of inlet water(absorbing liquid) be m3 kg.

The symbol for Acetone used ‘A’ and for water it is H2O.

The given mass fractions are;

Inlet gas: 0.20 kg A/kg and 0.80 kg Air/kg

Outlet gas: 0.03 kg A/kg and 0.97 kg Air/kg

Outlet aqueous solution (m = 50 kg): 0.10 kg A/kg and 0.90 kg H2O/kg

Inlet absorbing liquid is pure water.
