A) Plastic Waste- Plastic waste consist of non biodegradable materials which last over hundreds of the years. They are the used plastic stuff that are exposed to the environment as waste and non-disposable. It adversely affects the wildlife, wildlife habitat, aquatic animals and humans.
It's mass production started six decades ago and a survey tells that 8.3 billion tons of plastic waste had been disposed to the environment and only of it's 10% have been degraded or recycled. Increasing amount of the plastic waste is pushing natural habitats to the hazardous condition.
B) Use of the plastic waste -
In comparison to use of the particle it's recycling is very less but seeing the disastrous condition of the environment some methods have been adopted for the use of the waste plastic-
- construction of the roads
- construction of the sub-base of the roads
- adding some amount in cement that is used to build houses
- used to make the bricks and tiles in the different shapes and color
