Expert Solution
Step 1

Color blindness is a hereditary disorder. It is linked to X chromosome and it is X-linked recessive order, which means it will give its effect only when it is present in the homozygous condition. If it is present in the heterozygous condition then the female will be a carrier of this disorder. As in males, there is only one X chromosome so they get affected if it carries the color blindness gene. It most commonly affects males, while females are generally recessive carriers of the disorder.
