3. Using either technology or algebraic manipulation, find the linear equation for the line of best If you used an algebraic approach, show all work. If you used technology, briefly explain in 2-3 sentences the procedure you used to develop this model. Round your answer to the nearest hundredths. 4. a) State the slope of your line of best fit. The equation is: b) Using complete sentences, interpret the value of the slope in the context of this data. Don't forget to include units when appropriate. c) Does the slope seem reasonable in the context of this situation? (circle your answer) Yes No Support your answer with 1-2 sentences. Name Modeling Denver Population Data According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the population of Denver appears to be increasing linearly over the years from 1990 to 2015. The following table shows the population, y, of Denver in 10,000's for each year, where x is the number of years since 1990. 75 70 65 60 55 Source: U.S. Census Bureau 1. Using the graph below, plot the data as ordered pairs. Label the x- and y-axes with words indicating what the variables represent. Question
My question was for problem 3 finding the equation of the line that best fits that graph I got y=0.86X+46.8. I used the first and last set of x values to get 68.3-46.8/25-0=0.86 which is what I got for the slop. I was wondering if that would be an acceptable answer and if there are multiple answers that would work for that problem
Plz answer fast I will give you thumb up
