describe the types and composition of the body’s
membranes

Expert Solution
Step 1 Description

Membranes are slender layers of epithelial tissue generally bound to a fundamental layer of connective tissue. membranes cover, ensure, or separate different designs or tissues in the body.

The four kinds of membranes are:

1) cutaneous membranes; The cutaneous layer is skin. The skin comprises a layer of delineated squamous epithelium (epidermis) solidly joined to a thick layer of thick connective tissue (dermis). It varies from different films since it is presented to air and is dry.

2) serous membranes; The serous membranes are also known as serosae comprise of straightforward squamous epithelium also called mesothelium upheld by a layer of connective tissue (areolar).

3) mucous membranes; The mucosae line the body depressions that open to the outside, like the stomach related, respiratory, regenerative, and urinary parcels. These layers are kept sodden by substantial emissions.

4) synovial membranes: They encompass the pit of joints, occupying the space with the synovial liquid that they make.
