Hi this is from an EDA ABOUT imdb dataset on Kaggle. I'm trying to understand what the person did.

I know that stars 1 through 4 are col names which contain the name of actors.

Why do we have the name axs? Why is ax=0 and why is that important and where does it come about later in the code? What does the .sum and reset_index do?

Also what is the third line doing? Please explain everything and if you can show alternative code that might be easier to understand
