Critical Path Method
The critical path is the longest succession of tasks that has to be successfully completed to conclude a project entirely. The tasks involved in the sequence are called critical activities, as any task getting delayed will result in the whole project getting delayed. To determine the time duration of a project, the critical path has to be identified. The critical path method or CPM is used by project managers to evaluate the least amount of time required to finish each task with the least amount of delay.
Cost Analysis
The entire idea of cost of production or definition of production cost is applied corresponding or we can say that it is related to investment or money cost. Money cost or investment refers to any money expenditure which the firm or supplier or producer undertakes in purchasing or hiring factor of production or factor services.
Inventory Management
Inventory management is the process or system of handling all the goods that an organization owns. In simpler terms, inventory management deals with how a company orders, stores, and uses its goods.
Project Management
Project Management is all about management and optimum utilization of the resources in the best possible manner to develop the software as per the requirement of the client. Here the Project refers to the development of software to meet the end objective of the client by providing the required product or service within a specified Period of time and ensuring high quality. This can be done by managing all the available resources. In short, it can be defined as an application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet the objective of the Project. It is the duty of a Project Manager to achieve the objective of the Project as per the specifications given by the client.

After a few changes have been implemented, team members have lost interest, always not sure what work to be done, feel that the project manager has distance himself from the team, and shows no care at all.

The capacity of a person or an organisation to organise and arrange a group of people to perform a task is team management. Team management requires teamwork, coordination, goal setting and evaluations of results.
Interpersonal skills include the ability to connect with others and establish relationships. They strive to combine both your natural personality qualities and how you have learned to navigate such social situations, also called 'people skills'. During the work interview process, good interpersonal skills will assist you and can have a positive influence on your career development.
Some of the effective interpersonal skills are:-
- Self confidence - The correct level of workplace self-confidence will open doors and enable you to gain recognition. It can also illustrate how you treat different scenarios and cope with them both positively and effectively. Self-confidence at work will strengthen the way people view you and it will take your thoughts, suggestions and opinions more seriously. To be successful, whether you are a beginner looking for an entry role or a more seasoned member of the team hoping to gain promotion, it is important to demonstrate self-confidence at every point of your career.
- Relationship management - One thing is building efficient partnerships, but maintaining them is something completely different. In several positions, from junior posts through to management, this is a valuable skill. You will be expected to communicate with peers, partners and customers at any level in a company. In every business setting, the ability to maintain relationships based on respect for each other and mutual confidence is quite important.
- Receptiveness to feedback - Being open to input will assist you develop both personally and professionally. Consider all input as an opportunity to learn and never respond defensively. This can take some practise, especially if the input is negative, but always take a deep breath and reflect on how you can improve. You have to listen to it first to receive on-board reviews. Don't think about your answer, just listen to what they're saying.
- Work collaboration - Working collaboratively enables teams to work productively and achieve meaningful results for consumers and the organisation. The ability to collaborate and value each other is required for effective collaboration. Employers also prefer applicants who work successfully inside a team with an established track record and applicants who are able to compromise and collaborate to achieve outstanding work.
Stages
- Forming stage - The first stage of team growth is formation, which is a lot like college orientation day or a new job. You could also equate that to going out on a first date. The team has just been introduced and is overly friendly and nice to everyone. Most are ready to start something new at the beginning and to get to know the other members of the team.
- Storming stage - Being in a group is like being in a partnership. You may think everyone is fine and flawless at first. No, you know then that they're not. You either learn to tolerate them once you are aware of their shortcomings, or the relationship will end quickly. The fact and weight of completing the mission at hand have now struck everyone in the storming process. It is possible that the initial feelings of excitement and the need to be respectful have worn off.
- Norming stage - During the norming stage, individuals begin to notice and understand the strengths of their team members. Groups are starting to settle into a groove. All, as a cohesive entity, participates and functions. You may always think, of course, that the option of your tech guy in music is obnoxious. But you also respect his understanding of web design and coding abilities, and trust his views on everything related to tech.
