Exercise 2A
Write functions to perform the following tasks. Keep your function names the same as in the template file.
(1) Takes x and returns x³.
(ii) Takes a pair of integers and returns their mean.
(iii) Takes three integers a < b < c and checks whether they form a Pythagorean triple. (That is, returns
True or False depending on whether a² + 6² = c²).
(iv) Takes a list of integers and returns their mean.
(v) Takes a pair of positive integers and returns their greatest common divisor. (You may use the gcd
function from the math module for this question only!)
(vi) Takes a pair of integers and returns their mean or twice their greatest common divisor, whichever is the
greater. Your function should call the functions you wrote in (ii) & (v).
