- African Genesis is a private and subjective examination of the Animal Origins and Nature of Man. It is a non-fiction work which was written by Robert Ardrey in the year 1961.
- It focuses on the assumption or the theory that man unfolded or formulated on the African landmass from carnivorous, hunting forefathers who distinguished themselves from apes by the usage of weapons and projectiles. The work assumes questions of human heritage, human behaviour, and human identity.
