seagrass beds and coral reefs. Based on the interviews with local fishers, Species B
hides in crevices when its predator is in close proximity. Species B also shed its body
parts when its predator is approximately 5 to 10 cm away based on previous site
surveys.
In the laboratory, Species A and B were placed in the same tank but separated with a
chicken screen (mesh size: 0.5 inches). A portion of the hollow block was added to the
