"Find all solutions in radians using exact values only for tan^2(3x) = 1
I did it the way Bartleby did it and got pi/12 + kpi/3 and pi/4 + kpi/3
However the answer at the back of the book gives this answer pi/12 + kpi/6
Which is correct? Are both correct? If they are both two different ways of expressing the same answer, please show me how to get the book answer. Thanks!
