Hi I’m confused about this optimization practice problem, i think we need to draw a picture of the problem (labelled with the variables) and then we need an equation with one variable for the problem and then we need to find and test the critical numbers and max and min and test them I believe and if possible a domain or boundary for the problem. We didn’t use any fancy math methods or trig or anything just simply solved it.
