How do I find sales on account from a income statement or balance sheet

Sales on account can be calculated the following ways :

1. From Income Statement : The income statement usually shows the bifurcation for cash sales and sales on account. We can simply pick up the figure from there. If however, the said bifurcation is not present we can use the 2nd method.

2. From Balance Sheet : Whenever we make sales on account, an equal amount is added to account receivables as well. We can use the following formula to calculate sales on account.
