If the solid angle subtended by the main beam of an antenna is 0.5 steradian  then what will be the directivity of the antenna?

If the radiation intensity of an antenna is assumed to be constant, then all the power coming out of a transmitting antenna flows through a solid angle. That solid angle is called bean solid angle or beam area. Unit of beam solid angle is steradian. It can be expressed by the following equation:
