Knowing this information indicate over which blood vessel(s) you would apply the tourniquet if someone received a deep cut:

In the middle of their femoral region?

Expert Solution
Step 1

The femoral region is otherwise known as the thigh region, which has the femur and it extends from the hip bone to knee bone. The patella bone is present between the crural and the femoral bone.

Step 2

Tourniquets are tied on the limb two inches above the injury. The blood vessels of the lower limbs are arteries and veins. Most of the deep veins run parallel along with arteries and have similar names such as femoral artery and femoral vein. The 'femoral triangle' is found in the upper part of the thigh region.

The superficial group of veins includes the great saphenous vein that is seen subcutaneously on the medial side of the leg.
