That is Mean=sum of scores of the students in the afternoon classTotal number of students in the afternoon class=70     ......... (2)

 

The ratio of the number of students in morning class to the number of students in afternoon class is 34.

Let the number of students in morning class be 3x and number of students in afternoon class be 4x.

Then the total number of students is 3x+4x=7x.
