Birth and immigration increases the population level in a country. Birth rate refers to the adding of a new infant as an individual in the total number of population, whereas immigration refers to moving for permanent residency from one nation to another nation. In the process of immigration when an individual acquires the citizenship of the country he/she has immigrated to, adds to the population level of the country.
Birth rate refers to adding to the levels of increase in population. Death rate refers to numbers of deaths per geographic region and it leads to a decrease in the level of population. If the rate of birth and death are at equilibrium then the population stays stable or constant.
