respond to the following as to why it is a good example and how well it relates to Solomon Asch's conformity experiment   The experience that I can recall came from the workplace. I pride myself on being a private, quiet but tell the truth, when necessary, type of person. I often hear that because it's the truth that doesn't mean I should verbalize my feelings. My job was having a baby shower for a co-worker. Everyone was running around getting things together buying gifts, decorating, and discussing details. Someone asked what I am contributing. I replied nothing because I won't be in attendance. They said why not everyone is going. I said I don't care for the individual. The person said don't be that way everyone else is going it's such a happy time when someone is having a baby. I said I agree I just don't feel the need to9 be present. At that moment that person wanted me to conform and attend because everyone else was going. I stood my ground and didn't attend. How I feel now is still the same, just because someone else is doing it I don't need to follow. I view/viewed it as if I shouldn't have been the odd one out. I relate this incident similar to Solomon Asch's conformity experiment.
