Terminal voltage, V = 240 V

Induced EMF, E = 250 V

The induced EMF of DC shunt generator is given as,

E=pφZA×N60

Here p is the number of poles, φ is the flux per poles, Z is the number of conductors, A is the number of parallel paths and N is the speed of the generator in rpm.

Since only the winding connection and flux per poles are changing, assuming all other terms as constant.
