Expert Solution
Step 1

The wind turbine is used to produce electrical energy. The equipment for producing wind energy is mostly placed on the seaside because the velocity of the wind is high near the sea due to fluctuation of the temperature. In this process, the wind is used to rotate the turbine that is known as the conversion of wind energy into mechanical energy. The mechanical energy is further converted into electrical energy via an electrical generator.

The conversion of wind energy into electrical energy is very eco friendly. In this process, renewable energy that is wind energy is required. It is free of cost. But the equipment like the turbine is very big in size that is also very costly. Its maintenance is also very costly.
