The fundamental attribution error (FAE) is also referred to as correspondence bias can be described as propensity on the part of human observation to assign other person's behavioral responses to internal or temperamental aspects and to overlook situational factors. This includes the tendency of attributing the recorded behavior as completely based on personality and ignoring the influence of circumstantial factors. Hence the fundamental element built on the belief the actions reflects the character traits. Also it includes over attributing their responses to personality and under attributing the impact of context.
