The goal of this homework is twofold. First to get familiar with the GDB compiler. Second to apply the Engineering Problem Methodology as discussed in class. Versions of this methodology will be used throughout your engineering career. 1) Write a program that converts meters to miles. Show the Engineering Problem Methodology steps for this assignment (they may be very simple in this case). One of the program tests needs to convert 4000 meters to miles, though you should test other inputs as well (extremes and special points). Use the program from class (calculating distance between two points) as a starting point for any commands not covered yet – printing, declaring variables, etc ... For clarity: Here are the Engineering Problem Steps: 1. State the problem clearly. 2. Describe the input and output information. 3. Work the problem by hand (or with a calculator) for a simple set of data. 4. Develop a solution and convert it to a computer program. 5. Test the solution with a variety of data. For this simple problem, you could probably skip many of these, but in this case, I want to see all of them. Note, there are 1609.344 meters in a mile
