True or False: Negative feedback mechanisms cause the original stimulus to become even stronger

Step 1

Whenever there is some  stimulus on to any organ, there occurs some specific reaction as a response to that stimulus. The inititor of stimulus tend to increase or decrease it depending on the requirement. To control the response, the initiator organ starts the feedback mechanism. It may enhance or decrease the stimulus.

Step 2

Feedback mechanism occurs usually to maintain homeostasis i.e. to return to original state (or) the state  before appearence of stimulus.
