What are the different approaches to research, and what are the differences between them

The different approaches of research are quantitative and qualitative research. Both quantitative and qualitative research have different purpose and difference incurred between them. The differences between quantitative and qualitative research are as follows:

Quantitative research is based on statistic-based research. Quantitative research involves questions that can best be answered in numbers.
