Human dentition is the arrangement of teeth in the dental arch. It represents the types and characteristics of the teeth. Human teeth consists of 3 main parts: Crown, root and neck. The crown is projected in the oral cavity and is covered with the enamel (hardest material in the human body). The root is articulated into the sockets present in the jaw. The neck is a short, constricted part present in between the crown and root.
