What does the term **Algebraic order of operations** means?

Step 1

If an arithmetic expression with multiple operations like multiplication, division, addition, subtraction etc is to be simplified (or solved) the order in which each of these operations are carried out is defined by *“Algebraic order of operations”.*

Step 2

One way to easily remember the order of operation is to use the acronym PEMDAS.

Where the letters has following meaning:

E | |

A | |

S | |

Step 3

PEMDAS states the order in which the operations in an expression should be carried out.

Thus if multiple operations are to be done, first start by solving the expressions in the parenthesis, then exponential operations should be carried out f...
