During the Middle Ages, we are at the bottom of the social hierarchy. We have no power nor could we control land. We were 90% of the population trying to make a living while the lords lived in castles. Most of us peasants were malnourished. There wasn’t enough food for all of us and even though there was a manorial system, it didn’t provide enough food as required. As peasants, we were to work all 12 months.
