The story “The Chrysanthemums” by John Steinbeck is my story of choice. From reading this story I easily understood that the central symbol is Chrysanthemums. This was chosen as the central symbol to help readers understand what the story is about and to be able to understand and feel how emotional it is to be put in the shoes of Elisa Allen. Elisa Allen is the main character in this story she is a hardworking and intelligent woman who lives an unhappy life and she also feels as if it is unfulfilled

Director Lancaster related that the crew finished road improvements on Magic Water Road by the beet dump. The crew is currently doing pipe work, moving sand to stockpiles, grading, crack sealing and plowing snow. Director Lancaster related that Dolphy Callen contacted him regarding wanting to graze his cattle on the Curtis Gravel Pit that is owned by the District. AT 1103 hours, this writer met with Ms. Ford at her place of abode where M-1 also resides. Ms. Ford, gave this writer permission to search the inside premises and outside premises for M-1. The inside of the house and outside of the house were negative for M-1. Ms. Ford, provided a photo of M-1, fliers were made and approved of M-1. At 1140 hours, this writer met with employee Ms. Eleni Tesfaye Sadk of Rhode Island Avenue, Liquor store located at 1814 Hamlin Street, Northeast (202) 526-1216
