The main character’s name is Artemis Fowl. He has dark hair and pale skin. He is twelve years old. His family is very rich and live in a large house, and Artemis lives with his mom, (who has been acting very strange since Artemis’ dad died.) and his two servants, Butler and Juliet. At the beginning of the book, Artemis is mainly focused on getting even richer than he already was. After he kidnapped a fairy though, he realized that he had something he wanted more than riches. He wanted his mom to
Sometime in the summer, a silver-bearded prophet came to my house. He discerned pain here, he said, staring into my mother’s eyes. The prophet held her hands and spoke softly until she told him about her nightmares, about how she was a Christian woman but lived in pain and slept without peace. He arranged the cards in a way that

In the book, “The Land of Stories A Grimm Warning” by Chris Colfer, the main character, Rook, changes throughout the book due to the conflicts he faces. Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, today i will be speaking to you about how Michael Gow's “Away” and Eoin Colfer's “A Polish Christmas” have provided me with insight about how Discovery can be triggered by both significant and insignificant events as well as how self-discovery is explored throughout these texts. The purpose of my poster is to persuade children aged 12 and over to read Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. The poster displays and expresses the theme of evil that is evident in the graphic novel. I have used many techniques to convey the theme of evil in the book. Colour has been used in my poster to create a dark and wicked setting. The black and red in the image of Artemis shows how he is capable of doing such evil. His body is outlined with a red glow to enhance his power. I have also purposely made
