seen or heard about taffy. What I would think would come to mind to most people when I would say something regarding taffy might be something concerning saltwater taffy. I love saltwater taffy. It seems that it is not in great supply around here. The only place I know of is somewhere like the cracker barrel. vvvNobody addresses me by my real name anymore except for my dad and when I’m in trouble. I bet that if I asked anyone what my real name was, they wouldn’t remember it. The nickname given to me was Laffy Taffy just cause in second grade, I made the mistake of laughing too hard at a Laffy Taffy joke. It’s not my fault that I laugh too much in a minute. The name never bothered me since I actually like my nickname better than my real name Georgina. I hate that name so much because it was my dad’s mom’s

Silly children do silly things right? Well let me stop procrastinating and get to the story. On another hot day in Miami,Florida a little girl named Lauren laid bored in the living room. “I'm so bored” I would say to myself. Then mysteriously I saw a Deer Park water bottle . I’m just an average teenage girl who doesn’t really know who she is yet. A lot of people can tell by the different groups of people I hang out with, my favorite music genres, how I act in my different classes, etc. I’m not the person who sticks out in big groups of people or anything like that, but I can’t blame myself for that. So I’m going to talk about something that wasn’t part of my average schedule. Something that was extraordinary to me at the time. One of my best friends had bought an extra

Key Question 6: Personal Response 6) In my opinion, websites are the best news source since they are more raw and unedited unlike newspapers or television. This allows me to formulate my own opinion as opposed to biases of journalists or reporters. Websites cover information in real time. When I want to get informed about a certain event, I simply look it up then and there whereas, I would have to wait for the next day to read the newspaper. Websites also report information in depth and I can

When my older brother, Thomas, was in the third grade, his teacher called my mom and demanded Thomas stop biting his pencil. She considered it inappropriate and distracting, possibly even abhorrent. Therefore, the teacher snippily claimed, she would not be able to deal with Thomas until he ceased and desisted. At our small Catholic school, not being able to deal with Thomas was practically their mantra. Really, not being able to deal with anyone who was just a little different was their mantra. It
