Did you know, that one person escaped the tower with seconds to spare? A man named Ron DiFrancesco was trying to escape from the South tower, after the North Tower had been attacked, when the second hijacked plane hit between floor 77 and floor 85 of the South Tower. The explosion threw him against the wall, but, however, he was able to carry on to the ground floor from floor 81 in the same time the building was standing after the attack, and then it had collapsed behind him as he was escaping from the building. The attacks on September 11, 2001 had many important effects such as a change in immigrations laws, starting wars, and changed airport rules.

We all remember that tragic day on September eleventh 2001. Four planes were hijacked and placed with a particular mission. Two planes hit the north and south tower of the World Trade Center. One hit the Pentagon, and one landed in a field in Pennsylvania. Many changes were made to the world because of 9/11. Some of those changes are airport security, war, and government issues. September eleventh changed the world changed for the better and worse.

However, it wasn’t until the Gulf War in 1991, when tensions began to run high. The Gulf War began due to an Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who ordered an invasion of Kuwait. Neighbouring countries were alarmed by the news and immediately asked for Western nations to intervene, fearing Hussein would continue to feed his power hunger and advance to other Arabian countries. Finally after forty two days at war, his troops surrendered. From this moment on, the events leading up to the attack on 9/11 snowballed. Everyday millions of people, more specifically U.S. citizens trust and rely on their government to make the right decisions in order to keep them safe. On September 11th, 2001, the U.S. government betrayed their citizens by letting and also taking part in the worst attack to ever happen on our soil. Our government betrayed us that day and our former President George Bush and many other government officials had prior knowledge and even were a part of the 9/11 “terrorist” attacks.

I disagree with how they interpreted 9/11 after 15 years, because there is so much more that can mentioned in details. The new generations that are coming into this world need to know more than just how many people died in 9/11 and how we are honoring them. We need to know about how much 9/11 affected our nation as a whole. As well as all the after effects 9/11 had on America, and all of the other nations. In fact, there should be details about the persons that were behind it, and how much we have grown, or how we can keep moving forward. All of this information should written there, because this was one the most historical moments

Do you ever have one of those moments in your life in which you will never forget where you were? I remember waking up early on September 11, 2001, getting ready for school and my dad telling me hurry up to watch the news with him. Being in 8th grade at the time, the news really wasn’t something I would watch in the mornings so I knew it had to be something important. Then I saw it. An airplane crashing into a tower, people panicking, and mayhem ensuing in a city very well known to me. When any tragic event like 9/11 occurs, the effect it will have on a nation is tremendous. It left America in shock, anger, and sadness just to name a few adjectives to describe the insurmountable amount of feelings that we felt on that day.
