I am writing to express my interest in the administrative assistant position at the Student Wellbeing Unit. I am an international student, undertaking a PhD program in the College of Arts, Victoria University, with relevant working experience for the position.
Prior to my study, I worked as a university staff in Indonesia. Managing administrative duties was part of my main tasks. Through this role, I have well developed essential capacities for an administrative position in a university setting. They include high proficiency with the Microsoft Windows 7 environment, excellent written communication skills and competent interpersonal skills to liaise professionally with a diverse range of university staff. I am a well-organised, self-motivated
Hi Alicia, nice to meet you! Hawaii, wow, do you love living there? What job would you like to obtain after you get your degree? Which assistant would you prefer to be?

There are numerous reasons why I aspire to be a resident assistant. The most important reason why I am applying to be an RA is to inspire, motivate and transform students. I believe that my ability to provide valuable skills and resources to my resident will be highly beneficial not only to the students that receive my help, but CCSU as a whole. For example, when I attended CCSU in the summer of 2013, I was a struggling student trying to earn my spot as a central student. However, I found it hard to grasp my head around the transition from high school to college. On the other hand, I was fortunate enough to have Reina as my RA and she motivated, inspired and transformed me to believe in myself. I would be truly
I learned about the administrative assistant role from Stephanie Paul at the Royal Bank of Canada. We met recently at a networking event for financial services at Skills for Change. I believe that my business qualifications, administrative operations experience and strong client service focus will make me a valuable addition to the RBC Dominion Securities' team.
As a senior at the University of California, Davis, I am interested in applying for an internship with your law firm. This internship intrigued me because I am a certified paralegal, and I believe that an internship in your office will give me an opportunity to develop and hone in on my skills. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society. With my dedicated work ethic and passion for law, I am confident that I will be an asset to your office for the summer.
As I started my undergraduate journey, I never thought I would end up where I am now. When I entered college, I thought that my degree in chemistry would be a stepping-stone on the way to medical school. My one and only goal, at the start of college, was to work as hard as I could to ensure that I would one day become a doctor. However, along the way I figured out that medical school was not where my passions lie.
My previous employment at Georgetown University Student Employment Office has equipped me with the required administrative competence and skills necessary for this position. Part of my daily duties as a student employment specialist were to manage communications via email and phone calls, to be a liaison between on and off-campus employers, schedule and prepare for meetings, respond to various inquiries, and to maintain a filing system. I worked closely with the Vice President of Student Affairs at Georgetown University in addition to other faculty leaders. Through these positions I developed strong
I’ve been in the administrative professional field for over twenty years and I really enjoy the career field that I am in. For ten years I have been working as a government contractor for the Medical Countermeasures Joint Project Management Office as the Operations Coordinator / Lead Defense Travel Administrator headquartered at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. In April 2015, I was promoted to a new position within the organization that I work at. I am now the Management Support Assistant. Besides being responsible for the entire organizations travel, I also support the Director of Operations to include Human Resource functions. In this new role within the organization it is providing me the opportunity to lean more and grow. My goal once I have my degree is to move into the
I believe that I will be able to effectively do the job as an Associate Secretariat Administrator considering my exposure and experience as an Administrative Staff in PSOD for more than 7 years already. Currently, I am a Senior Operations Assistant in PSPM. As a SOA, I am assisting the FI unit in monitoring the status of the projects under implementation and in ensuring that Clients comply with the ADB requirements and the Facility Agreements. I assist in processing the requests for disbursements and in ensuring the timely repayments of loans. I compile information and submit reports to the Front Office, as requested. I also update the portfolio administration database/systems.
One of my fondest passions is learning about the human body. I find the inner mechanisms of the human body to be extremely intriguing – the ability for so many intersecting faculties to form a cohesive, high-functioning organism is truly astounding. I am currently majoring in the Honours Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience program at the University of Windsor and throughout my time studying, I have developed a greater sense of not only the human brain, but the physiological and biological mechanisms involved throughout the entire body. I have been able to apply this knowledge throughout my experiences as a teaching assistant for multiple undergraduate courses. My role as a teaching assistant allows me to apply my knowledge of the human body

I am a recent graduate from Smith College. I enjoyed my time in university including my work study jobs on campus. Helping students understand and enjoy what a school has to offer is something which I have learned to enjoy. As a result, I wish to work as an Administrative Assistant at Northeastern University as the position would allow me to help students appreciate a university which provides excellent opportunities for their students.
It seemed like every day there was nothing he could think of to start up a conversation with her. Who was he fooling? Even if there was something that he could think to talk to her about, he would freeze up again and stand frozen gawking at her like the idiot he was. He didn’t know when his obsession had begun, but there was no doubt that it had escalated to the point where she was the only thing on his mind and had distracted him to no end. He had even given up on a promotion that would’ve placed him in charge of his section, but it would take away his opportunity to see her each day.
After learning about your company in the Real Estate business I was very interested in applying for this position which has given me a great degree of enthusiasm to be a part of this dynamic team. I have worked seven years as a Professional Organizer and five years as a Personal Assistant, during that time I was able to develop my administrative abilities. I have grown to develop a level of excellence in consumer service to a degree where I can make a valuable contribution in this position. I am confident that my skills are well aligned with the role, and that I would be an excellent fit for this organization.
I wanted to shoot you an email in the hopes that my news would get to you from me before hearing it from someone else. I have been given the opportunity to work full time in an administrative assistant role. I got the job on Monday and talk to Anna about it that night. It was suppost to be me taking the full time job an reducing my hours at the library to mon and thu nights but I found out this morning that HQ required employees a minimum of 8 hours a week. So long story short I can't pass up an opportunity like this so I'm giving my notice.
