I searched through my backpack and put my flashlight and my pistol in my waist carrier then grabbed my sniper rifle next to the couch I was sleeping on. Amber looked eager to go she was already geared up with the door wide open to our little cabin in the middle of nowhere. While Amber was surveying the countryside for any potential stray walkers I put my back pack on my back and approached the front door.
"You ready?" I said to Amber "I am pretty sure that sound was from a vehicle crash Leo this might be our lucky day." she replied excitedly
My mind went back a three weeks ago when I first met Amber back in Syracuse, she was stranded on the highway her truck's engine gave out and was fighting off a horde that she attracted while trying to fix the engine. Lucky for her I pulled up right when she ran out of bullets and was for sure going to be zombie food. I got out my truck and yelled at her to come to me. She made a mad dash to my truck while I held of the horde of walkers with my AK. We drove off just when the horde got to my truck, she said she heard a radio broadcast from Zion which is supposedly the largest group of survivors in the United States and are accepting any survivors to their group. She said that they were located in John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We managed to get somewhere in the outskirts of Allentown PA before we ran into the military. We managed to get out alive but we lost our transportation and found this cabin were we been stuck ever
The dogs ran circles in the chest-high snow while I inventoried my backpack one more time to make sure I had everything I needed. My sleeping bag, my Thermarest, my stove, Alex's bivvy sack, matches, lighting paste, flashlight, knife. I brought three pairs of long underwear - tops and bottoms - so I could change once before I went to bed, and once again in the morning, so I wouldn't get chilled by my own sweat. I brought paper and pen, and Kool-Aid to mix with my water. I brought Montana House chicken stew and
I had been taken to their shelter. Now I rest on a wooden chair in the middle of the sitting room, with six pairs of eyes on me.
After I had finished my meal I continued getting ready. In doing so I put on the remainder of my clothes, my sweatshirt and hunting pants came next followed by my wool socks and winter hunting boots. Next I checked to make sure my backpack was ready and had all the essentials in it in case something were to happen. Lastly I grabbed my already loaded sleek black shotgun and put on my heaving winter coat, hats and gloves. Now I was ready to begin my hunt.
"I don't know. I felt like something was..." He broke off into a sigh, and Jimin gave a small smile.
Amaya jumped up with a wide grin. She knew that it was big so she wanted her friends to be there when she opened it. So she told them to bring their sleeping bags. As soon as the girls got there they darted into the living room.
Discovery Journal Writing Never Let Me Go — Chapter 10 Kathy recalled, "Of course, in practice, especially during the first months, we rarely stepped beyond the confines of the Cottages. We didn't even walk about the surrounding countryside or wander into the nearby village. I don't think we were afraid exactly. "
"I perceive the mission went smoothly. The target was neutralized quickly, and everyone survived with no injuries at all," I say, looking around the
I ripped the front door open and ran to my room, thankful that my brother Travis didn't make a surprise visit today. I rifled through my dresser, looking for my silver savior. I found what I was looking for and ripped off my jacket and backpack, and tossed them behind me. My jeans went next, the thoughts racing through my head almost unbearable.
The cool morning breeze came in through the window, making me shiver. I sat at my desk going through the mental list in my head of what I had to bring. After I was positive I had everything, I set off to the woods where I would go on the nature trail for my earth science class.
"Hey, you got lucky too, you know." She leaned her forehead against Laura's. "I think I might have gotten extremely lucky though, I mean we've been together for so long and here we are now, both graduated from Silas, I'm working and you're soon to be working. Nothing can stop us." As she went to kiss Laura, her girlfriends phone rang. "Except for that." They both laughed as Laura got her phone.
My heart was beating erratically and I could barely breathe. The plan was going so well until Carver's people started shooting. The sounds of the walkers and the gunfire drowned out any words from the rest of the group. Sarita was still next to me and she was trying her best to fight through the herd. I decided to follow her, using my hatchet to take down the ones that got too close. Sarita was still advancing and right as I killed another walker, I saw one coming at her from the side.
As soon as jumped out of my window i was surprised to see Anna already outside ready to to secure a fort on Ripping Hill. We were already geared up and we headed of to Ripping Hill. We went down to street around a few houses and there we were and the tallest hill in the whole park. We climbed up the steep hill and realized that our shoes were getting wet and soggy because of the snow piled on top of the dirty landscape. I had just received a text from Tommy that said “Just wait till we bombard them with snowballs and take this victory.” I texted back “Wait till we unleash the secret weapon.”. “ We better secure a good spot to make a good fort and fast.” I shouted to Anna up the hill. We jogged up the hill to meet Anna at the top. We were ready
It didn’t take me long to make my way back home as I worked my way through the cover of the area’s thick foliage. We had only been a little over a mile away to begin with, so the threat of being spotted was at a minimum.
As Robert reappeared, she found him dressed in faded blue denim jeans and a red and black checkerboard flannel shirt. At a casual glance, he seemed like the normal countryman prepared for an early morning camping trip, if it weren’t for the police utility belt clipped around his waist. He gripped the smooth, chestnut brown stock to a rifle. He returned to his seat and leaned it in the corner. Robert tilted his head towards the Winchester and asked, “Ever shoot
“We’re going to get there.” Lexie assured the teen before attempting to figure out what was going on. Traffic seemed to be blocked from both directions. “Most likely. Whatever happened wasn’t good.”
