When my fifth grade teacher Ms. Orelli announced the applications for the Magnet Program, I didn’t jump out of my seats as some other students did. A number of students told their parents about the program as soon as they came home. I simply mentioned the program a bit a later in the week. As soon as my parents found out, they told me all the benefits of the Magnet Program, advising me to at least try it out.
