The whole family had come to town. They all had met at the hospital to go see her. Everyone raced to the ICU to see with their own eyes the condition she was in. Tommy, her husband, warned everyone,
“It’s not going well, you’ll barley recognize her.”
Slowly they all entered the room not prepared for what they were about to witness. There in the bed laid my Aunt. She was bloated beyond recognition, the doctors had wires and hoses all over. The first one to speak was Loni, she went over to the beside and held my aunt’s hand, “Poor girl, why’d you do this to yourself?” Earlier this spring well school was still in session my first warning sign presented itself. I was with my girlfriend at the time when my mother called me, “Zac, Jeanna has taken the kids to Casselton to go swimming, she had to take them like RIGHT NOW. I want you to go check on her and make sure she’s ok. Something didn’t seem right just go check on her and call me back. I love you drive safe.” So, my girlfriend, Lilly, and I dropped our shopping trip and went out to Casselton to go check in on them. We arrived at the water park to find nothing amiss and everything was all right. With everything checked out I called my mother back, “Hello?” “Yes, Zachary is she ok? Everything seem fine? The way she behaved thru me for a loop.”
“Yes, mom she’s alright I’m on my way back see you in a few, love you.”
