The whole family had come to town. They all had met at the hospital to go see her. Everyone raced to the ICU to see with their own eyes the condition she was in. Tommy, her husband, warned everyone,
“It’s not going well, you’ll barley recognize her.”
Slowly they all entered the room not prepared for what they were about to witness. There in the bed laid my Aunt. She was bloated beyond recognition, the doctors had wires and hoses all over. The first one to speak was Loni, she went over to the beside and held my aunt’s hand, “Poor girl, why’d you do this to yourself?” Earlier this spring well school was still in session my first warning sign presented itself. I was with my girlfriend at the time when my mother called me, “Zac, Jeanna has taken the kids to Casselton to go swimming, she had to take them like RIGHT NOW. I want you to go check on her and make sure she’s ok. Something didn’t seem right just go check on her and call me back. I love you drive safe.” So, my girlfriend, Lilly, and I dropped our shopping trip and went out to Casselton to go check in on them. We arrived at the water park to find nothing amiss and everything was all right. With everything checked out I called my mother back, “Hello?” “Yes, Zachary is she ok? Everything seem fine? The way she behaved thru me for a loop.”
“Yes, mom she’s alright I’m on my way back see you in a few, love you.”
At this point I should explain that my beloved aunt is Bi-Polar. At the time I didn’t put two and two
Aunt seemed to have quite a few questions about why and how everything had happened. So mother then told a story of how she
My mom had been acting very suspicious all day so I had expected something was up. In fact that day I had asked her, “hey mom, could I get tickets for the 5 Seconds of Summer concert in Tulsa?” When I asked her that she wouldn't look me in the eyes so I automatically thought something was wrong.
Their was a loud “Thud Thud Thunk” before I ran back upstairs where Ma had fallen in the bathroom. There was blood she was on the ground breathing heavy with small pops and gurgles, so I called the Police on the Land Line it's all we have. They're gonna take her up to Johns Hopkins, I remember where that is because all
I walked into the kitchen to get some juice when I heard my mom on the phone. I wanted to listen in but I knew it wasn’t right. I grabbed a cup and grabbed the juice from the refrigerator and started pouring. Although I just couldn’t help it so I started to eavesdrop and she was talking to somebody about my dad coming back to Wisconsin and that he was living in our cabin.
I was thirteen, a happy teenager headed home from a weekend at the lake alongside my best friend and her family. It was one of the moments in life that I will never forget in hindsight, for many different reasons. We had spent all weekend on the boat, laughing, and tubing. At thirteen, I had my family, my friends, food and shelter over my head. What more could a girl ask for? On the four-hour car ride home I had been calling my parents, and else anyone that I could think of to let them know we were safe and headed home, all without hearing a word back. I began to have a gut feeling that something wasn’t right; my gut knew something that I
I ran and i ran as fast as i could , athena called my name jack you are a chicken , come back i need you! As i ran away i went to a police station and which i told him everything as the chief replied she will be locked up for good. The nst day on the news i saw here poster saying missing and charged with 5 accounts of murder. For two months i felt like something was watching me. Then i flipped on the tv the very night i was creeped out i saw insane girl found dead. As i looked over my shoulder in the mirror next to the tv i saw athena dead. Shouted dad. Ahhhh! I exclaimed oh it was just a story haden i promise my dad said calmingly. In that moment i realized it was not a story it was true as i look in my dad's piercing blue eyes i saw athena was my dad's sister.
I was at New York, Brooklyn to be exact I was there to visit my families like my cousins my grandparents my aunts and my uncles. I was sleeping at my cousin's apartment I was cramped on the top bunk with my cousin Nadine she's the same age as me. Nadine and I were 10. finally, I woke up and so did Nadine we climb the ladder down to the living room which is right next to the bedrooms we slump on the couch and turn the tv on.
“NOOOOOOOOOO THAT CAN NOT BE POSSIBLE,” yelled a boy named Fritz, “try again.” Fritz and his friends, Andy and Zack, are in Fritz’s bedroom with the soothing and quiet hum of the computer and the boing boing boing of the tennis ball hitting against the white and bumpy wall of the bedroom that is being thrown by Andy. “WE HAVE TO FIND THAT RING,” screamed Fritz as he stormed out of the bedroom. Fritz was a skinny little boy in 7th grade at Spry Middle School. He loves to play dodgeball outside with his friends, and play car racing with his little brother inside. But, Fritz’s gets angry really quickly sometimes.Fritz has the ability to be a human GPS. Andy was more of an active person. She loves gymnastics. Some moves she can do is the aerial, a cartwheel, a back-handspring, and she can flip in the air three times in a row, without touching the ground. Zack is more of an insider. Most of his time spent in the day is reading, studying, writing or looking out the window for more ideas for his story’s.
It was a summer day in July, the sun was shining bright and you could see the heat waves in the air. My friends Caleb, Javon, and I were heading to the mall. We were there for five minutes when we heard someone yell “Stop!” We turned and saw it was an officer, before we knew it we were all running. Caleb was in front with me and Javon trailing. I turned to look back at the officer he was overweight and his white uniform was already sticking to his body due to him sweating. We turned a corner and went inside a bathroom. We all looked at each other and started laughing. “Why’d you run?” I asked Caleb
I could use, so I just did one on John Cusack, he’s my favorite actor.”
“Ouch!” Nova mumbled as she sat up holding her head. It felt like she had been hit with a baseball bat. Nova was a teenage girl with long black hair. Her skin was of a dark complexion. Her eyes were blurry because of the terrible headache she had. As she slowly gets up to examine her environs, she realizes she was in the middle of what seemed to be an abandoned circus tent. There were few rusted metal chairs and leftover rubbage. The weather-beaten tent was ridden with holes and reeked of mold. Finally, there was one thing to inspect, a rope. She walks over to the rope and pulls it out of curiosity. Due to this action, the curtain behind her rose, revealing an empty stage. Suddenly, the lights went out. When they came back on she was in the center of the tent again. The only nuance was the man standing on the stage.
Oikawa turned away from the car window in the back that he was dramatically looking out of. "I am not being melodramatic," he said on the verge of tears, "our boy is leaving Iwa-chan, don't you understand!!?"
“I don’t think it’s a good Idea.” I said as Rick, Carl and I set up camp in a car. “We need to rest.” Rick said starting a fire. “I meant about Terminus.” I said putting our supplies in the car. “It’s the best place that we could go right now. What if the others are there?” he asked while sitting down. I sighed. There was no way I could shake off the feeling there was something bad around the corner. Rick and I stood watch while Carl took a nap in the car. After a hour or two I asked Rick “I’m going to take a short nap okay?” He looked at me and nodded and said “Yeah, go ahead get some rest.” I gave him a quick kiss before getting in the car. “Hey Lily,” I heard Carl’s voice “Yeah Carl?” He asked “Do you think we’ll find the others?” I answered “No I don’t think I know we will.” Carl smiled and we laid back down until I heard a knock on the window and I heard him scream. My door suddenly swung open and I was put into a choke hold. There were five men, one had a knife to Carl’s neck and a gun to Rick’s head. Then there was a knife to my neck. “Leave them alone!” Rick demanded at the old man pointing a gun to his head. I elbowed the guy in the stomach and tried to run away but he pinned me down. Carl tried to do the same thing only to be pinned down as well. I kicked the guy as he grabbed my throat, “Stop movin girlie.” I growled and bit his hand. He tightened his grip until there was a gunshot. Rick seemed dazed and I stared, he didn’t move. The guy binding Carl pressed the
Stories. We hear them all the time. For most of us, we’re introduced to the concept of storytelling from a very young age, when our parents would tell us bedtime stories. For others, we weren’t so lucky as to have had this privilege. I can most definitely say that I wasn’t one of those kids with this privilege, so what would I do instead? I would create my own stories, and relay them through my mind. Believe it or not, I got really good at storytelling. That is exactly why I’m going to tell you all a story today. Nothing ordinary, and nothing out-of-the ordinary. Simply, a story that you won’t be able to forget.
“Momma?” Sylvia asked when she suddenly felt her mother let go of her hand. “Momma, where did you go?”
