Yuri stood outside the shop, watching his prey with an evil grin. He had waited long enough.
The prey walked out of the store, and Yuri purposely bumped into him, knocking the man over. Yuri studied the man discreetly, a kind smile forming on his face as he offered the man a hand up. His platinum hair fell over his left eye, which was a beautiful shade of blue green. His pale skin looked beautiful in the sunlight, and his lips looked very smooth and soft. He was exactly 180 centimeters tall, or five feet and eleven inches. Today he was wearing a slate-blue trenchcoat over his clothes, and had the most dumbfounded look on his face. He took Yuri’s hand, and Yuri helped pull him up.
“I'm so sorry about that sir! Is there anything I could do to make it up?” Yuri said in his most innocent voice ever, and Victor shook his head. “No, no it's fine. It was just an accident.” He said, but before he could walk away, Yuri grabbed him by the wrist. Victor looked at him confused. “No, I insist. Just a cup of coffee or something? What would you like?” He asked in a insisting, more demanding, voice. Victor sighed in defeat, and smiled again. “Alright, coffee sounds great.” He said, and Yuri smiled brightly and led the man to the nearby cafe.
As they sat down, across from each other, Yuri couldn't help but stare at the man. He was definitely the type of boy he used to stalk when he was in school, but that was a different story for another time. His gaze met the eyes of the other man,
‘What the hell. Not again’ She thinks to herself, continuing to rub her neck hoping it will go away, but it makes a lot worse.
“You alright?” asked Louis, his hand giving mine a gentle squeeze. I nodded and took my hand away from his, playing with the straw on my Starbuck’s drink as a distraction. I heard him sigh and I immediately felt bad, I was ruining his day because of my mood. It wasn’t his fault his bosses had forced us together, ruining the chances of Louis and Harry to have any future relationships.
Sarah Montgomery sat on the small ledge by the window seat, watching longingly as happy children walked home from school. Murphy was on her lap, whom she was petting gently. Sarah took one last glance out the window before heading downstairs, with Murphy following at her heels.
Leaving the motel on Highway 74 around 3:00 o’clock, Marlene drove faster than usual to get home ahead of Jerry and Andrew. Smiling, her thought lingered on the last few hours spent with her lover. Pulling into the garage, Marlene parked her Mercedes, brushed her hair put on fresh lipstick, before going into the house, relieved she was home when her husband and father-in-law arrived. Wanting to surprise them, she went into the kitchen to make a pot of coffee, sat down at the counter and glanced through the mail.
The man took a step forward, a thin branch snapped beneath the weight of his boot. He froze in his tracks, eyes wide as he waited with baited breath. To his luck, the woman hadn’t heard him. His eyes followed her as she took a seat at the dining room table. Now was his opportunity.
“Watch it Tyrek!”I cry.Tyrek just smiles and runs off.I rub my shin, moaning.Tyrek sprinted back with two popsicles, one cherry which I take, and the other lime, which he keeps. “What? Is little miss June mad?”Tyrek crooned.”Oh shut up will you?” I say, licking my already-melting popsicle. We live right next to each other,so we visit each other by opening the loose wooden panel in the gate and letting ourselves in or out.Right now we're sitting on Tyrek’s porch my pet dog, or our dog, Sprinkles in between us.”So,what are you going to do after school this year?”Tyrek asks. ”Well,I might be joining the newspaper,I mean like,be a writer or something.” Me and Tyrek are now moving from Martin Luther Jr. elementary to Martin Luther Jr. Middle school.Kind of a coincidence if you think about it. “I should have known,” Tyrek says. “What do you mean?”. “I mean,I knew you would have done something as boring as doing stories for the newspaper and whatnot.”. “Really? Then what are you gonna do?” I ask,a smug smile on my face. But it quickly fades away when I see the other June,or Corky,as I like to call her, walking toward us. “Oh hey Tyrek!” she says. “I just wanted to give you an invitation to totally FAB birthday party!”. “Oh hello June!” Corky says,a sooo fake smile on her face. “I would like to invite you to my B-day,but um.. oops!I guess I have no more!” Corky, said twirling her short curls.Notice I’m still using her nickname..ha! “Ok Cor- I mean June.I never wanted to come anyway,” I say a
I must have dropped off, because when I opened my eyes, the sun was beginning its descent, causing an orange hue to cascade on the aged walls like vibrant painted patterns. I splash my face in the bathroom sink. Theres a claw footed tub inside. I imagine wicked nights of smoking and cognac ala Edward G Robinson while stewing in its recesses. I put on my peacoat and lock that door to my secret chamber. No sooner do I go out than I see a figure resting in a lobby chair. An older woman. An American. She tells me she in en route to Geneva to speak at a conference about water pollution. Her name is Miranda.
The morning light shined bright, the breeze blew softly. A perfect day in utopia. This was also the day Kristina Baker ended the lives of four young citizens. Kristina Baker graduated high school winning the title of Class Valedictorian, started multiple foundations and charities to support cancer awareness, and went on to attend Harvard University. With beautiful lemon blonde hair, everyone envied her at school.
The smell of Susan’s hot chocolate surrounded the coldness of her face as she would take a long, relaxing sip. Her mum started to pack things such as sunscreen, togs, towel and plenty of food and water. As Mum was getting ready slowly, Susan turned on the dusty old TV to watch. After each ad, she would feel as if it was practically speaking to her. When finally her mum finished getting ready she grabbed her stuff and yelled “We're going now Susan!” then said “make sure you have all your stuff.” Said nervously. Susan was all hyped up and ready to go, she grabbed her stuff and headed out the door. Susan ran with excitement with her star shaped sunglasses and flew into the black mini cooper with Mum.
She glanced around, but she was all on her own. The only noise came from a fire where logs burned and crackled in a grate. Framed photos lined the top of a mantle but they were too far away to see. She stared for a while into the flames and let her mind drift. Shapes formed in the flames. First a gargoyle, and then a girl’s face. The bright orange light hurt her eyes so she let them close. A few minutes later she jerked herself awake again. She felt hot. She kicked off the blankets only to find she was naked underneath. She blushed and covered herself before anyone came in the room.
His father sneered at him from his wingback chair in his study, a snifter of brandy in his hand. Draco knew when he returned home that he’d missed dinner, but he was hoping his father would be in a less surly mood about it.
The next morning, back in his cell, Lincoln had time to think. He had always been taught to think positively and never give up. This mantra had got him through some pretty sticky situations. However, this current one was going to top them all. There just seemed to be no way out of there and their captors are not showing themselves at all.
myself breakfast suddenly I hear a knock at the door and as I went to open it I see Liam standing there with a box “ merry christmas “ he said “ you shouldn’t have gotten me anything” I told him “just open the box” he said and there was a ring made of gold with little snowflakes around it, “ it’s beautiful but why would you get me this “ I ask him “ the ring is made from a special type of gold and the snowflakes represents the times we have been together” he tells me. “It’s lovely thank you but I have gotten anything for you” I tell him , “ it’s okay the best gift you could gave me is being mine” he replied. As the years went on I started to wonder what happened that night that I pass out as I start to remember i start to feel this weird but powerful energy and I let out this loud scream and as I look up into the sky little snowflakes start to fall down and the sky starts to get dark that’s where adam came in a hurry and tells me that he has to talk to me. “ what the hell adam it’s been two years since we seen each other and know you just want to talk if like nothing didn’t happened” I told him, “ I know but you don’t know why I stop talking to you” he said “ the only thing thing I remember is that liam told me that you didn’t want to be my friend and that hurt but you know what hurt the most that you told liam instead of talking to me” I replied , “ that’s not what happened Liam lied to you he told you those lies so that he could keep you to himself” he said “ what the
“I’m not sure but it’s a big, swirling, gas like oval. It looks kind of like a small black hole, only blue instead of black. Wait a minute, is that the portal thing you've been working so hard on, I cant’t believe you finished it honey. Are you surprising us by coming through it?”
Tamotsu’s twin sister, Tatiana, practically barrelled Anya over as she stormed into his room, raging, “You didn’t fucking tell me mom was sending you off again. None of you ever tell me anything. Stars, I hate you sometimes, you’re stupid, why do you always let her do this to you?” she demanded, the words tumbling out of her mouth in a heedless rush.
