Aaron Gordon has been a high flyer in the NBA and a popular player in Orlando since he glided through the air with grace since entering the league. In his first three seasons, he had a conservative rise to the top averaging 9.7 ppg. However this season he’s expected to take a larger role with Orlando, and become their number 1 offensive option and their most electrifying player since Tracy McGrady threw the ball off the backboard.
“I am just having more fun. It is much more freeing to play when I am enjoying the game. I’m not putting any pressure on myself. I’m healthy. I’m having fun,” says Gordon.
With second-year coach Frank Vogel at the helm, the Magic are expected to push the tempo and play a faster pace of basketball, something that fits Gordon skill set. Last season Gordon mostly played small forward while averaging 12.7 points. This year he’s expected to play more power forward, this will allow him to have a speed advantage over slower defenders.
“People have asked me that for years and years, and I always tell them the same thing. I feel more comfortable just being on the floor anywhere,” says Gordon.
As one of the leagues most exciting young team Gordon hopes to make a huge imprint on the Magic and take them back to the NBA playoffs.

With the major work he put in this offseason, Gordon game is expected to expand on both ends of the floor. Before he was known only as a leaper, today not only is he known as a high flyer, but he has transformed his game to one of the most explosive dynamic scorers in the league. He’s proven he can score consistently from all areas of the court. The most improved aspect of his game has been his three-point shooting, this season he is expected to hit the three at an efficient rate, possibly close to the league average. With his continued development expect to hear his name as it pertains to a possible All-Star
Gordon Hayward's basketball skills have inspired me. He is so good at what he does. I want to be like him. After watching his disgusting injury I knew how he felt. I felt the same way. After injuries you get devastated and that's how he feels right now. He probably has to go
As we know, Trae Young has been lighting up college basketball, some people are saying he will be the first pick even. That’s pretty impressive for a freshman that wasn’t getting talked about like Marvin Bagley, or DeAndre Ayton. He was kind of under the radar. After all of that though, he has been such a great player and might win the Woodland Award for being the very best player in all of college basketball! That’s a pretty great achievement in anybody’s eyes, even regardless if you’re great in the NBA. That’s why he is being compared to Stephen Curry, Curry was a great player obviously but was still under the radar, and look at him now. A two time NBA MVP! The comparison is that Trae Young can really score the ball just like Stephen Curry.
Last season, he averaged 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1. 6 assists per game. Coach Van Gundy has said that Morris has been impressive this off-season and really showed that he can beat defenders off the dribble. He will be inserted into the Pistons’ starting lineup in 2015-16, so there will be plenty of opportunities for him to get us all fantasy points.
Kristaps is so much better than people think. Lots of people think that he was an overlooked rookie that was hyped up to much and doesn’t have much talent in NBA. But I believe that he is so much more than people think he is. His free throw percentage was 85 percent. He also was shooting a .350 behind the arc. But he was a monster under the hoop on both sides. He was averaging 3 dunks a game and 3 swats a game. However he plays on a team that has been troubled for quite some time now and need to start getting their stuff together and work as a team.
Another great player to play the great sport of basketball. He is still kind of young and still has so much he wants to do and is gonna do. He is a great player all around on and off the court. When a player loves what they do they work relentlessly hard to get where they want to be in life. The NBA does a great job with the sport and players.
With the emergence of his game on the offensive end of the floor, Jordan was rewarded- being named to the All-NBA First Team this past season.
Curry came into the league in 2009 with NBA pedigree, being the son of former NBA player Dell Curry. Stephen had a brilliant career at Davidson where he earned a place on the Consensus All-American First Team in his senior year. Since being drafted in the 1st round by the Warriors, he has worked hard to become the best player he can possibly be. It's quite scary to think he might not be there
While the Hornets were able to make the playoffs without him last year, they also had the firepower and leadership of Al Jefferson to come in off the bench, the ability of Jeremy Lin to run the offense with or without the absence of point guard Kemba Walker, as well as finish games down the stretch. Not to mention, the successful acquisition of Courtney Lee after the All-Star break. Those guys are gone and MKG will need to be productive. Within his first four years, MKG’s game totals have gone from 75 to 62 to 55 and then last year only 7. Before he was injured, MKG averaged around 13 points and 6 rebounds a game while shooting around 55% in those seven games. His scoring will need to increase because as long as he is healthy, he will see a lot of time with the second team. The length of him MKG and Nicolas Batum on the wing will be a troubling sight for opposing teams. And on the second team, he and Batum will have plenty of chances to score. MKG’s defense has always been a staple of his game since he entered the NBA. His combination of quickness and strength gives him the ability to defend smaller and bigger opponents. The Hornets defense, offense and rebounding rating improves tremendously when he is on the
I should not really have to say more than that, but, alas, tomfoolery is alive and well. Ben Simmons looks dangerously close to my personal idea of 'the perfect NBA prospect' - a 1) very tall (but not too tall that it diminishes his athleticism), 2) extremely athletic 3) primary ball-handler who 4) shows excellently in every imagination of 'basketball IQ' conceivable, 5) sees the floor and delivers passes on the level of tippity-top point-guard prospects, 6) gets to the rim and 7) to the free-throw line truly at will, 8) defends excellently up through the 4 and 5 positions, and, finally, 9) rebounds the shit out of the
Wade is coming off a season in which he averaged 21.5 points per game and was an All-Star for the 11th time. He has been a part of all three of Miami's title seasons, and Riley said Wade "will lead us as we look to win another NBA championship."
As a matter of fact, here is a bold prediction: not only will he surpass Kareem’s record, he will become the first player in NBA history to score at least 40,000 points.
Gordon Hayward - Shooting Forward - As a Utah Jazz restricted free agent, Gordon's availability is not clear. That said, there have been enough no sign rumors circulating that he should get more than a passing thought. He was a prolific scorer at Butler and over six seasons in the NBA, he has increased his scoring average each year, currently sitting at 19.8 PPG. Though he only shoots 44% from the field, he has long arms, a true scorer's mentality and knows how to get to the basket with his aggressive style.
This can also be attributed to the addition of Brandon Jennings, who is a point guard known for his penchant for pushing the ball up the court, and is now known to be pushing Elfrid Payton for playing time. The Magic have won four of their past six games and have scored 110 points or more in the three of their past five contests. We can usually count on the Warriors to their fair share of scoring to hold up our end of the bargain when betting the over on today’s total. Golden State has scored 112 points or more in every game this month except two (@ ATL, @ POR). Look for the Warriors. Using their two games against Oklahoma City this season for comparison in terms of scoring and game flow, the Magic and Thunder combined for scoring totals of 231 and
While Stephen Curry has become a hero to some for the dazzling skills he showcases in the National Basketball League, not enough attention is given to his early life. He was raised in an athletic family who helped shape him into the player he is today. Due to his size, Curry had his fair share of doubters, but he knew that he would have an opportunity to play at the next level. He was remarkable in his middle and high school careers. He was not recruited by many, but had a remarkable career at Davidson, leading them to an Elite 8 appearance in 2008. Even after Davidson’s run ended, Steph knew that he would have an opportunity to play at the next level.
It is a tale of 2 sides of the court for KCP, on defense more of the same should be expected where KCP will be asked to take the most difficult defensive assignments that are not big wing scorers and generally lock them down, most importantly this includes the various really good point guards in the NBA. His hustle and skill on the perimeter will pair with Andre 's massive interior prescence to form the cornerstones of the Pistons defense. Offensively there are many more question marks, but it should be assumed that he will still be shooting plenty of 3s (whether he hits very many of them
