Ultimately we find that Abraham, this man of faith, learned to trust in God as he traveled, not only from his home in Ur but as he journeyed towards faith.
The Quran is a basis of information about Jesus. Which not only leads us to a better understanding of who Jesus was, but also, through that understanding, it intensifies our admiration and affection for him. The last Revelation, coming as it did some six hundred years after the birth of Jesus, tells what is important for us to know about his being and lessons, and clarifies his role as a Prophet in the immense viewpoint that the Unitarians recognized lay behind prophecy itself.( Ur-Rahim)

"Christianity started out in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece and became a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved to Europe and became a culture; it came to America and became an enterprise" as stated by theological scholar Sam Pascoe. Throughout Christianity’s journey they have come across ties with the religions Judaism and Islam. There are few similarities between the three major religions. One similarity is that Abraham is viewed the same between all three religions. The only other similarity is that all 3 religions believe in a God, just in different ways. There are much more similar theological aspects of the religions when Christianity is compared to
Islam is an Arabic word meaning submission and therefore Islam religion is believed to be an Abrahamic religion which believes in submission to the almighty God Allah and Muhammad as the prophet. Quran is the holy book believed to be the guideline of the Muslims who are the followers of the Islamic religion. It is believed that Allah repeatedly revealed to Muhammad verbally through angel Gabriel and recited in the Quran (Hadith of Revelation, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3). I was raised as a Roman Catholic. This meant waking up early on weekends, going to church every Sunday and the days of obligation, and attending catechism, no matter how much I protested. It also meant being unhappy. I detested most of the rules. I did not believe in an almighty God that could give me free will, but wanted to limit my actions. I also could not stand to believe in someone who could kill one of my best friends and continue the world like nothing had happened. All I wanted was to be able to live, not just survive. Six months after I was confirmed, I stopped going to church. After that I did not know what to believe. God was supposed to be watching over me. Instead, I felt He had forgotten my name.
Abraham’s seriousness and dedication in regards to his covenant with God control tense actions and events between Abraham and Isaac. Abraham is compelled in his actions by his understanding and faith that his belief in God will reap benefits. Without hesitation, he considers doing everything that God tells him to do. Abraham’s willingness and sacrifice of Isaac show the great power that God has over Abraham. Abraham’s desire for God’s approval and blessings compel him toward grave actions without the concrete command from God. Abraham merely implies God’s intentions from the limited conversations held between Abraham, God, and the angel.
Islam is a monotheistic faith centered around one God (Allah). It has many prophets that preach the same message of belief in one God. Muhammad was the last and greatest prophet and felt that since the people were worshipping many gods that they had forgotten the original message of the prophet Abraham – worship one God. Muhammad received messages throughout his life from God through the angel Gabriel, so he dedicated the rest of his life spreading the message that there was no other God but Allah and that Muslims should lead their lives in a way to please Allah.
Islam is monotheistic religion, whose god is Allah. The Muslims also believe in the Five Pillars of Islam. The Five Pillars is made up of five core beliefs of Islam. All you must say is, “There is no true god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah.” This belief is key to the Islam religion because if you do not accept Allah as the only god and Muhammad as his prophet, you will be punished to hell, instead of enjoying peace in heaven
And he said, Blessed be the Lord the God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant (Genesis 9:26). Noah blessed the Lord, not Shem. This prophecy was in connection with the Messiah coming from Shem’s offspring’s through Abraham's descendants to save the world, and be a blessing to all humankind (Psalm 132:11; 89:3; Isaiah 11:1; Zechariah 2:10-12; Matthew 1:1; Luke 1:69; Acts 2:30-31; 13:22-23).
Abraham stands as one of the most important figures in the Hebrew Bible, and is central to the understanding of God’s solution to the problem of mankind. Man, the mysterious creature that God wraught as a semi-experiment, is constantly prone to believe he is self-sufficient and capable of survival without God, the central problem God must deal with in the Hebrew Bible. To solve this problem, God decides to strike fear in the heart of man and to revolutionise his lifestyle by creating laws and empowering a chosen group of people, who will spread the word of God by example. These people are the Hebrews, and Abraham is the father of their race, the man from whom all
