In an extremely competitive environment, this is a trait that an exuberant amount of bosses are looking for in their employees. They absolutely can’t take the chance to hire people who can’t show their employers that they can act professionally. Even Wiens himself, a CEO and founder of two businesses, explicitly stated: “I have a ‘zero tolerance approach’ to grammar mistakes that make people look stupid.” Obviously, it’s not just attention to detail that grammar points to, but also that person’s intelligence and thoughtfulness (Adams). Attention to detail and thoughtfulness seems to go hand in hand with the proper use of grammar, thus becomes crystal clear why grammar is so important.
On my part, as a college student aspiring to become a graduated college student, attention to detail may be the most important skill that I’ll need to be successful in the career field. For an overly saturated job market, information security analysis is a job that is expected to have a high demand in the upcoming years. On the evening of Thursday July 23, 2015 I conducted an interview of Alex Benavides- a senior mechanical engineering major at Oklahoma State University. Benavides describes his experiences in his english courses as enjoyable, and notes that it helped him become a better writer. Benavides also states, that from personal experience during summer internships, that there are ineffective writers in positions where clean, flowing, and proper writing is a necessity. Proper grammar is essential in professional writing situations, according to Benavides, and is also often the first area critiqued by professors and teaching assistants. “You only get out what you put in when you write”, says Benavides, “be serious and grind, it makes the difference”.

Research shows that a patient’s outcome reflects greatly by team care and the improvement is significant (UQ Health, 2010). A patient is also part of the healthcare team, and has become an integral part of the healthcare system. Patients are active participants rather than passive recipients (UQ Health, 2010). Therefore a quicker and more effective recovery, by getting back to their regular routines more efficiently. As part of the IPP, there are many roles and responsibilities formed by different health professions, which all play relevant parts in the system. The use of inter-professional communication is highly important, as the best possible outcome is wanted for patients. Communication from each profession is vital (UQ Health, 2010).
The mind that can generate ideas is very important but the use of proper English grammar is no less significant. One of the main objectives of a University education is to develop the communication skills of its students. An idea has no value when it cannot be expressed in the English language that is most widely spoken in the world and it’s the main language of the academia and scholarly research. Proper skills in English grammar gives wings to ideas. The mind that can grow ideas is high in demand but you need to know proper syntax of language to cultivate the idea. Grammar why is it so important? Many students, to include myself, have asked this question at least one time in their academic career. The truth is in this age many people don’t know how to use proper grammar. Grammar and communication skills are increasingly necessary for many career fields. Jeffery Selingo is a writer for the Washington Post and said, in his article, that national surveys communicate employers are now placing a lot more value on good grammar skills (Selingo). Because of this, I need to improve my grammar focus on skills. To be successful in my career, I will need to learn to develop these skills and if possible master them.
