A time when I attempted to reach a goal was in middle school. My goal was to get A’s and B’s throughout my three years of middle school. My goal started right away because I remember when I was 10 years old and my parents told me that in order to get a decent job I needed to get good grades. So the reason I set that goal was to help me get a nice job. And getting a nice job is important for me. It’s important to me because when I get older I might get my house and that’s why I would need a job that pays me about $23 or more per hour. Achieving this goal was essential, I was able to accomplish it by studying for any tests and turning in all my work I was really proud of myself. I remember I was walking through the stage and shaking all my teachers’
If you do not set goals or achievements for yourself then, you will not be successful in life. One major goal that I set for myself is to be elected at the ROTC program at Colts Neck High School. Unfortunately, it will not be an easy goals to achieve. It is going to a long bumpy ride until I reach my destination. However, if I study hard, complete all of my school assignments, and get antoshining grades then, I can find a shortcut to make this ride shorter and maybe even smoother after all. Also, participation is one of the main keys to achieving this goal. I make sure that I participate in class and in after school activities such as track and field and basketball because then my teachers and my coach could recommend me. This single goal persily will overall make me smarter and a hardworking student by the end of the year.
The last goal I set for myself is using my time for wisely. Every time I would come back home from school, instead of doing my homework, I would either turn on the TV or use my phone. Later on, I motivated myself to do something more productive. For example, doing and finishing my homework, because I wanted to maintain good grades. I knew that if I wanted to make my parents proud, I would have to do good in school. My parents were my motivation to always try my hardest no matter what.
I have made a lot of progress towards my last goal. I always had my homework done ahead of time and now it has become a habit. I planned in my planner one week ahead so I could easily see all the stuff I needed to do.
In the article “Succeed: How We Can Reach Our Goals” by Heidi Grant Halvorson which is also the world’s leading on goal settings. Have a little piece of goal wisdom which means when a teen imagines to lose weight and they end up losing weight. People that are successful don’t just have confidence that they will succeed, but they also have confidence that they will succeed. Some people don’t like hearing people say that they can’t succeed. Goals to be accomplished A time in my life when I attempted to fulfill my goals was to play Varsity Basketball as a freshman. It all started when I was 13 years old. I played basketball for Mead Middle School and when I made team and it was close to the end of the season and the Varsity girls from East came to watch us play and I wanted them to notice me.
Even though some goals are harder than others to achieve, set them anyway and do your very best to reach them. Have high standards for yourself and for the people you hang around as well. By “setting goals for yourself”, I mean set them for who you want to be, how you want to act, present yourself, and live your life. Make your life a leading example to
My goals will become easier to reach once I begin with the end in mind. First off, one of my goals is being generous, helping others, and showing kindness. I believe that I can accomplish this goal by remembering that not everyone is always having a good day and that a small act of kindness could mean a lot to someone. I also believe I can accomplish this goal by seeking wanted help in my free time and being more generous (obviously). That goal is a personal and lifelong one that I will always try to keep. Another one of my goals is to make sure my family feels loved. I set this goal because I am fully aware that 6th grade is actually not that long of a way from college, which is when I will not have much time for my family. I would also hate to be an awfully annoying teenager that
My goal setting started when I was eight years old. Like myself, my dad is a huge believer in writing your goals down. Throughout my life, my dad encouraged me to set goals. These goals are based on the Graefen Family Fundamentals. By following the fundamentals, I believe that I can become successful in whatever I do in life. Still to this day, every six months I come up with my goals for the next half-year.
Setting goals is like going to school at the age of 30. When you go to school at the age of 14 it sucks so imagine going to school at 30 it would be worse. You wake up and get dressed and gather work.
The last goal I made was that I was going to try and keep my grades up. I also made the goal of trying to be here everyday. I have completed this goal. I have only missed one day of school and that was because I had to go to Kentucky , for court.
I have learned that it is very important to set long and short term goals for myself. I have also learned the difference between the two. A long term goal is around a year long and a short term is well less than a year. For example; my present long term goal is my associates degree. My short term goal is to complete my assignments along with my daily
I made the goal to complete one practice test before every webtest in my algebra class. Surprisingly, my dedication and progress on this goal have been phenomenal. Math is not a strong skill for me and this goal has helped raise my scores on those tests by helping me see exactly the type of questions I was having an issue with so I could go back and study that section before taking my webtest. It was great seeing the difference in my test scores simply from implementing this goal. My second academic goal was to arrive early to every class and use that extra time. Best idea ever! I have gotten so much done or head start on so many things just by utilizing those fifteen minutes or

Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis.
