The world is divided into two, the light and the dark. The exact definition of good and evil is up for debate, but there are situations that are well known for being personifications of good and evil. For example, George Washington, Martin Luther King, and Abraham Lincoln are prime examples of the goodness in society. There are, however, prime examples of the evil in the world personified a few men. Examples of these men are Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Both of these guys are known as evil men who rose from humble beginnings to forever infamy for their misuse and practical terror in power usage.

This led to even more psychological damage to ensue. Hitler by this point had lived life to see only misery, loss of family, and failure at almost every turn. Things, however, were about to become interesting for the soon to be leader of the Nazis.
After World War One, otherwise known as the “Great War,” Germany was in a time of crisis and political instability. Because Germany lost the war, the treaty of Versailles forced Germany to not only be responsible for their own reprimands, but everyone who participated in the war (mainly repay France.) Germany was also humiliated by losing most of their army and territories due to this treaty. In addition, to add to the economic crisis of Germany, according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/history/mwh/germany/hitlerpowerrev1.shtml “In 1929, the American Stock Exchange collapsed, and caused an economic depression. America called in all its foreign loans, which destroyed Weimar Germany. Unemployment in Germany rose to 6 million.” Hitler had become very interested in politics. He joined the “a member of the National Socialist German Workers ' Party,” otherwise known as the Nazi party.
At first, Hitler had little more than an anti-semitic attitude and a great speaking capability. Hitler tried to just start a revolution in the streets at first. This attempt was halted by the remaining
A.The character Napoleon represents is Joseph Stalin. Napoleon is also a pig like snowball, but he is very much the opposite of him. He is not a good speaker, not as clever, cruel, brutal, selfish, a killer, and uses his “friends”. (11) Joseph Stalin is also not a good speaker and poorly educated, doesn’t follow other people’s conceptions, a killer, selfish, and broke the rules to allow what he wanted. So, we see how these two represent each other in their evil ways.
Once in power Hitler quickly established himself as dictator. He started hauling off thousands of anti-Nazis to concentration camps. The economy, the media, and all cultural activities were brought under Nazi authority by making an individual’s livelihood dependent on their political loyalty. His desire was to establish German rule over Europe and other parts of the world. He realized that this would lead to a European conflict and so he started his plan to conquer Europe by invading Poland in 1939 and started World War ll . The war started off good for the Germans but once the United States entered the war they started to lose. As time passed, defeat became more certain, but Hitler refused to give up. Finally with all of Germany overrun by Allied
During the 1930’s Germany was at an all time low as the worldwide economic depression hit Germany hard. The confidence in Germany from the people was lacking due to the fresh memory of their defeat in World War I. This caused great need of a new leader, someone who could give the people change, and Adolf Hitler knew he could do just that. His rapid rise to power began when he started to promise things that intrigued the German people. He promised the hopeless and needy a better life, and promised opportunities that were exactly what the people needed. This caught the attention of so many young unemployed and middle class people. His party, known as the Nazi Party, won 33 percent of the votes in the 1932 elections. And by January 1933, Hitler was appointed chancellor, which was the head of the German government. Germany started to feel like they might've found the leader they'd been so desperate for.
Throughout World War II there were two dictators who stand out, Hitler and Stalin. Hitler was a dictator in Germany and brought death too many people who he did not considered pure blood. Stalin was a Soviet Union dictator, who killed many peasants. Stalin and Hitler’s history is different from each other. At one point history make them alike. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were different men, from different countries, enemies that had the same goal, and become powerful leaders of their country
Stalin and Truman are two of the most important figures of World War II and the Cold War. At the end of the Second World War, the two world powers that emerged were the US and the USSR. Because of this, the only competition was between these two men, and this led to growing conflicts between the two nations. The major differences between these two begin with their origins, and stem through their ideologies, and the ideologies they fear. Although these differences are drastic, these men share several similarities in reference to their occupational and leadership skills and tactics.

Adolf Hitler was a cruel human being. Hitler had killed a lot of Jewish people during his whole rule. Hitler would make the Jews feel as bad as he could in any way he possibly could. He would take away their homes and separate them from their family.
Hitler was considered at the time to be evil. He felt the German people were a superior race and should be the masters of the world. He wanted to grow a master race through sterilization and selective breeding. He used terror to gain his power but made it look like it was legal.
Before World War II, two men came into power in Italy and Germany. These men were known as Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. They both were similar in their form of rule. Both Hitler and Mussolini wanted to make their countries better. For example, Hitler wanted to conquer other countries and purify the race, while Mussolini wanted to make Italy the country to be jealous of.
For example, “Adolf Hitler was a [...]political leader who rose from total obscurity to lead a powerful mass movement that destroyed democracy in Germany, proclaimed a Third Reich that would "last a thousand years," and started the second World War, which ended with Hitler's suicide and the death of 50 million people globally” (“Adolf Hitler” 1).Hitler was the reason all those people died. He started World War II and much more terrible things. In addition, about a month before he died, “Hitler's lieutenants finalized the precise plans of the "Final Solution of the Jewish Question"--the systematic extermination of Europe's Jews” (“Adolf Hitler” 6). Before Hitler died he tried to kill as much Jews as he possibly could. He had his lieutenants kill all the Jews that he had captured. Furthermore, Hitler left an awful legacy on the world, “he left at least 50 million dead and many millions more injured, as well as incalculable economic, social, and moral devastation. His ‘Thousand Year Reich’ had lasted 12 years and three months” (“Adolf Hitler” 6). This shows that Hitler was one of the worst people to ever live on this earth. For those twelve years and three months Hitler made life horrifying in the world, especially for Jewish
Hitler persuaded many German citizens. He made them think that the Jews were bad people and needed to be kept in ghettos and small areas, or killed. At first, the Jews just thought they were protecting them from the war, but over time they realized what was happening. Hitler was convincing the Germans to kill the Jews, and because Hitler was persuasive, they listened. He persuaded many Germans, made them act horribly and inhumane towards Jews, and feared the Jews forever.
In the 20th century we saw an immense amount of people die as well as the rise of countless dictators throughout the world; we had Pol Pot in Cambodia, Augusto Pinochet in Chile, Benito Mussolini in Fascist Italy, Stalin in the Soviet Union and of course Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany. These leaders caused the deaths of thousands and even millions of their own people in the name of their government and ideological movements but two leaders stand out specifically for the heinous crimes they commited, Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler. Joseph Stalin rose to power after the death of Vladimir Lenin on January 21, 1924 after suffering from a series of strokes throughout the years. Lenin did not like Stalin and did not want him to be the next leader but
Adolf Hitler is one of the many monsters disguised as human beings. It makes one question how someone could do something so horrendous. What could have gone so wrong in their life for them to turn into such a brute? The infamous Hitler killed over six million innocent people. Throwing them in concentration and death camps, to suffer and die. He tortured millions of people and ruined the lives of even more. He came to Germany’s rescue after its defeat in World War I and the Treaty of Versailles was intact. The germans needed to place the blame for them losing the war and Hitler gave them the perfect victim: the Jews. There were social, economic, and cultural influences on Adolf Hitler which affected his lifetime achievement.
Hitler was a very passionate speaker that was incredibly adept to connecting to his audience in order to influence or persuade. The people he was speaking to would feel his passion. His charisma for speaking combined with the weak structure of Germany at the time made him influential beyond any other. He had the combined skills of an actor and a politician, “he could talk well and he had the actor’s gift of mimicry to amuse his companions. (Green, 2001, pg. 12), and everything he said and did had a calculated
Hitler is one of the most recognizable, and hated people to ever live. He is known world round for his oratory skills, and all the unspeakable deaths that he was responsible for. He is marked down as one of the worst tyrants in history.
