Adolf Hitler's Early Years

On April 20, 1889, Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau Am Inn, Austria to Alois Hitler and Klara Pölzl. In the early days of Hitler’s life, he was an unrestrained and carefree child who lived a happy life. His mother was very caring and affectionate towards him while his father spent most of his time either at work or following his hobby of keeping bees. Hitler had an older brother named Alois Hitler Jr. and an older sister named Angela, and a few years after he was born his mom gave birth to another son named Edmund and another sister named Paula. With his father no longer there to enforce good grades, he started to study less and fail more. When he turned sixteen, he gave up completely, and dropped out.

Many of the actions that Hitler enacted are remembered as the horrors of the 20th century. This man is compared to the devil at times for the acts he committed against humanity. I believe that Hitler's Evil adulthood is partially from the influences of his childhood. As a child, Hitler became exposed to anti-semitic political ideas from friends he grew up with. As a kid these ideas were something he latched onto. That was because he wanted to fit in with his friends. In 1940 Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Nazi Germany. Hitler, with the support of Germany, begins his quest for world domination and purging his nation of all those he thinks are impure to his new aryan race. These people are the Jews, the disabled, gypsies, those with different political views, and those who are gay.

Hitler used many tactics to control German society during the Nazi era; his outlook on how women should act is embodied in the Speech to the National Socialist Women’s Association. The speech was given by Gertrud Scholtz-Klink, the organization’s leader, with the intent to convince women to take their place in Hitler’s Nazi movement. The emphasis on women’s natural roles in the home, as mothers and wives, and the discouragement of women’s right are manifested in the persuasive language of national identity and involvement. Hitler uses Scholtz-Klink to fight for the minds of German women in a speech that asks for feminist ideals to be cast aside all for the good of the country.

Adolf Hitler born April 20, 1889, was just a mere citizen until Germany faced world humiliation post World War I. After World War I Germans faced harsh economic depression during which in turn caused people to lose trust in their government. Hitler being an intelligent man took advantage of this opportunity to promote himself and gain power. The Treaty of Versailles, established after WWI, led Germany to their lowest in world standings. The treaty humiliated Germany as they lost their land, respect, military, and say in world affairs. Germany is at an all-time low needed a savior and that is where in January of 1993 Hitler stepped in. Hitler used this depression and used fear as a tool to persuade Germans that he could boost the economy and bring Germany back to power. He promised the Germans hope, glory, and supreme power.

To start, Adolf Hitler had an interesting childhood. First off, Hitler started out with a pretty normal life. He was born on April 20, 1889, in Brauau, Austria. The war had lasted for over 6 years and during that time period, and Hitler had made his mark in trying to eradicate the Jews from existence and almost succeeded in his goal.
