Drones are wartime weapons the United States government uses to fight the War on Terror. Officially known as unmanned aerial vehicles, this type of aircraft plays a vital role in protecting the United States, as well as many other countries around the world. Although there are multiple drones owned by the United States government, the MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1B Predator drones are the most predominantly used drones; General Atomics Aeronautical Systems manufacture both aircrafts.

This urge to know more lead me to consider purchasing a drone for myself, but there were a few problems about that consideration. I didn’t have a complete understanding about drone maneuverability and regulations which lead me to speculate whether or not to begin exploring the field of drones. My desire to study about unmanned aerial systems strengthened over the next couple of years, but I couldn’t find many lessons that were interactive and thorough enough. I find it amazing how a brand new view of the ground below can be accessed with such a small and agile product. For a great portion of my existence, I always thought that huge aircrafts would be the only functionable creations that would be able to fly the skies, so when I first witnessed the potential of these aerial systems, I was quickly captivated to properly wield one someday. The feature of recording flights was also mind-blowing because it opened a new way to express the world around us through film. It’s amazing how creative content creators can be when using them. Technological advancement has improved the consumer drones and the services they provide. Well this is what I think: A drone is a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), so basically a remote controlled aircraft without on-board passengers. I believe that drones should be regulated by the government because all in all, they do a lot of good for our world.

Drones are flying objects fitted with propellers that make the flight possible. They are extensively used in aerial photography as well as filming that further helps in various research purposes. Drones fitted with high quality camera can be used to capture pictures and videos with high definition. Some advanced drones can also continuously transmit the information to your smart phones or hand held display devices.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVS) universally known as Drones is a small state of the art aircraft controlled by well-trained professionals or pilots and these drones can be controlled and deployed from any remote location. Drones are widely used by Military for surveillance, reconnaissance and on some occasions they are used to neutralize enemy forces without the need of invasive military engagement. Due to the advancement in technology and to the success rate of the use of drones, the Law enforcement is launching its use in their day to day activities.

Drone technology has been around for almost six decades, during WWII. Present day drone technology evolved in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Drones popularity and interest has increasingly grown through the years, as it has been a work in progress for quite some time beginning to be created and intended to be used as a weapon used in previous wars and then on to becoming a device that allows others to use for different purposes. Based by the scholarly articles, newspapers, book pages, and journals collected- it has shown both negative and positive aspects of drone usage and how it may affect the future.

This is a fair argument, but the cons of using consumer drones without restrictions greatly outweigh the benefits.

Drones are widely used by many people as a hobby or for career purposes, as well as for military purposes by the United States. Drones provide the U.S military with many benefits, which helps the military to operate efficiently and in a safe manner. Businesses are utilizing this technology as well in order to make their companies run more efficiently, as well as to improve their customer service. Drone technology will positively impact our society; drastically change our culture and political system and definitely advance our economy as well as help enhance our environment.
