On the other hand, the nightlife of W.P. Carey is much different compare to the daytime. At night, especially on Tuesday, one can see as seamlessly orchestrated parade of Sororities girls and Fraternities boys, in all their pride and glory for their individual groups and Arizona State University, come through to gather for the weekly meetings. It seems like the majority of organizations have meetings or events at night on Tuesday. Alpha Sigma Phi had a bid day event on the courtyard, where old members and new or potential members meet up and enjoyed pizza and drinks to meet one another and welcome the new recruits into their brotherhood. They enjoyed their night as the displayed excitement and pride for what their group represents for them
“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life…” is a quote that seems to describe my present feelings. My interest that I have in joining the Sigma Psi Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is not a decision I make on the whim. This lifelong commitment is a step I make with confidence and determination. In the past year and a half, I have been exposed and admired these exemplary college educated women who have dedicated themselves to be of service to the community, the empowerment of others and themselves, and to leadership. The members of this sorority hold themselves to a high standard and forged these strong bonds of sisterhood with each other that have been influential in me making
After researching the purpose Delta Sigma Pi, I was very interested in being a part of a family that shares a mutual desire of what I want out of not only my time here at Northeastern, but out of life in general. After seeing that this fraternity looks for, “those that are self-motivated, dedicated, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile for those in need,” I was immediately convinced that these are the type of people I would like to surround myself around. I believe that I would be able to contribute to the fraternity in a way that is being pursued and would really love the opportunity to do so.
As a member of Phi Theta Epsilon, I will continue to pursue my occupational therapy degree in the presence of other highly motivated students that share the same values and the same desire to contribute to the continued growth and promotion of our profession. I will continue to seek the knowledge and experience necessary for me to become the best occupational therapist that I can be for my future clients with the support of Phi Theta Epsilon. I will demonstrate continued academic excellence and professionalism through my role in positively representing occupational therapy at Alvernia. I am excited for the opportunity to represent occupational therapy not only here at Alvernia, but also within the larger community as well.

I am a senior graduating in spring 2016. I am interested in joining the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society. I meet every requirement except the cumulative GPA. At this time my cumulative GPA is a 3.17 nevertheless, I have a GPA of a 3.75 in my criminal justice course. In spring 2015, I was double majoring in Chemistry and Criminal Justice. I am interested in becoming a forensic scientist. When my workload started to get overwhelming I dropped chemistry just to focus on criminal justice. I want to know is it possible I can still join Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society.
At the University of Iowa I am currently involved with greek life, specifically the sorority Pi Beta Phi. Being in the chapter involves many different aspects. The chapter's philanthropy is called, "Read, Lead, Achieve." Pi Beta Phi is dedicated to help raise money to donate to literacy causes. Pi Beta Phi has also donated 1 million books to children in need of materials. I chose to join this sorority for their philanthropy, because I value literacy as a future teacher. I also hold a position in my chapter, a Policy and Standards Board member. This means myself and a team hold the women in our chapter accountable for any misbehavior, and work with them to find ways to change it.

A wholesome diet fuels the brain. Your brain is responsible for cognitive function and thusly learning. Therefore, a wholesome diet is essential to learning efficiently. It can be said that everyone has their hobbies. Some play golf or regularly indulge in PC gaming, some are avid fashionistas or social media superstars; I yearn to learn, adventure, and eat.
Members of Omega Sigma, Houston Community College’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, hosted their first general meeting of the fall semester on Sept 4 at the West Loop campus.
I thoroughly enjoyed this portfolio. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Pi Chi Chapter here at Stockton University. This was not only a campus activity with my chapter, and the Stockton Community, but it was an international community service project for the sorority in itself, which has over 283,000 members. The community service project included all members of the sorority to turn in 1 backpack to the sorority to be donated to children who were unable to receive school supplies, for whatever issue, where their parents were unable to afford school supplies. I was fortunate enough to see one of the schools that Alpha Kappa Alpha donated to which was a school in Camden, and which is a place where poverty is extremely high. To turn in my backpack, my chapter and I attended North Atlantic Regional Round-Up where about 400 backpacks were collected and over 4,555 school supplies were collected. Not only did Alpha Kappa Alpha help increase the quality of a child’s education, but they donated in areas where poverty is also very high, so that students could have the resources that they needed to succeed in school, which made me feel like I
Thank you for your support of Kappa Kappa Gamma. On behalf of Fraternity Council, I am writing to share an update regarding Zeta Eta Chapter at the University of California, Irvine.
After reading the case study, what I know is that the National Honor Society (NHS), is one of the finest organizations and students who have excel, is recognized. The students are base on the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Students are not nominated by their peers but by the teachers, that the students have encountered and established a relationship with. There is not one teacher that select an eligible member, it's a committee. The committee consist of teachers and they based each application by the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. All factors are considered for membership, not just academics.

As you know, the Harvard Corporation voted in December to retain the social group policy that prohibits students who are members of unrecognized single-gender social organizations from holding leadership positions in other recognized student organizations or athletic teams and renders them ineligible to receive the Dean’s endorsement letters for those fellowships that require such endorsements.
