American Exceptionalism is the term that imperialists in the United States regularly use to claim that their country is unusual or amazing. American exceptionalism defend to the exceptional character of the United States as an inimitably free country centered on democratic principles and personal liberty. American Exceptionalism is an issue that has been existed from early years and George Washington is one of the key pieces in this issue.
The U.S history maintenance the idea of American Exceptionalism because this country have done so much and have incredible stuffs like children and disability support, insurance, study opportunities, etc. George Washington is an example that U.S. and its population are unique in several ways. “George Washington (1732-99) was commander in chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War (1775-83) and served two terms as the first U.S. president, from 1789 to 1797. Washington proved to be a better general than military strategist, his strength lay not in his genius on the battlefield but in his ability to keep the struggling colonial army together. Envisioning Washington as an early master of guerrilla warfare helps to explain his success, he fought as a guerrilla because he lacked the resources to do otherwise, he husbanded his resources and avoided set-piece battles unless he knew he could win, also if he calculated he would lose, he retreated so as not to lose what small forces he possessed.”
