Each country has its own specific type of government in place in order to create laws and govern the citizens of that nation. Many governments have slowly, or quickly, become corrupted. Some are already corrupt. they can become unfair to regular citizens and even place innocent people in jail to cover up their own nefarious deeds. they print money and cause inflation, which eventually makes all their money worthless. Government officials can even hide important things from the public.
Thankfully, the American government is not corrupt. They do not have a history of hiding important findings from the general public. Government officials don't ever try to steal money from honest hard-working citizens. They are guiltless of all crimes and honest.
Once a government becomes corrupt, the only way the government can go is downwards, becoming a country that uses increasingly tyrannical measures until the government will only be the root of terror for the citizens. By this time, the country would have abolished Popular Sovereignty, Republicanism, and Federalism. The reason there will be no more of Popular Sovereignty and Republicanism is because there would be an absolute leader which will cause no more of voting for a leader and also it is one of the Individual Rights to be able to
Government, or societies perception of it, is kind of an abstract concept. The world is constantly changing, so what a society expects of it’s government is fluid as well. The problem with this concept is that governmental systems are very hard to change, and whatever change that is necessary ends up being very hard to achieve. That’s the beauty of most governmental systems, they have been being used since the days of ancient Greece and Rome, but merely slightly adapted to fit each different countries needs. Everyone knows basically how government works, but no one knows well enough to ask questions, except for those in power who will be answering said questions. The expectations of government have changed so much, but the system itself has
Governments are formed for a reason, because of a bad society. When there is no government,
I believe the Constitution is too vague. The dilemma lies in the details or lack of details. If the objective is free speech, it is much easier to just simply say free speech then to try and express every single instance where free speech is and is not allowed. While vagueness does allow for flexibility, it also allows some corruption, but corruption only comes from those who abuse the system. One example of corruption is in December 2005, the American Civil Liberties Union reported what they believed was one of the worst abuses of the Constitution since 9/11, the National Security Agency tapped into telephone calls of American citizens without a warrant, which violates the Fourth Amendment.
Is there corruption in your government? I am going to argue that the United States government is corrupt.
The government can easily become blinded by money and ignorance. The people should be the ones creating the rules and laws for which they need to abide by. While the government officials are of a higher power, which is a reason that is used to support why the government should be making the regulations, this can blind said officials from reality. They can become only concerned for what the nation itself is, rather than what the people are, without realizing that what makes up a nation is the people. Without the people, there would not be a nation. Only a foundation of what could be. When citizens are forced into submission by the government, they become unhappy. A prime example of this is in “Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea”.
The government loses its credibility, overestimating of its power and falsely claiming about the perfect control of the
“The evil that men do, lives after them, The good is oft’ interred with their bones”. The evil that one decides to do will be on their own conscious although it will still affect the people around them.
Today, our nation 's democracy is unarguably only alive on a small scale. Much of America 's population, does not uphold a civic role that consistently supplements a successful democracy. Corruption of democracy stems directly from Americans not being able to actively take responsibility for their own society or their own futures. As a result of individuals lacking responsibility in various ways, flaws in our society continue to define everything we are as part of America. Everyone in the country can uphold simple civic responsibilities, without deviating from daily routine. By misunderstanding patriotism, not participating in the government, causing tension between ideologies, and ignoring the significance of community, we are not
For starters, corruption, our country is full of it. The definition of corruption is “dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power.” Now this could be by bribery, which in most cases it is in America. We don’t take pride in our own self accomplishment anymore. We pay off people to do our work for us. Even within our own government we see corruption. People with money just need to wave it in someones face and they’re good to go. The other item of business dealing with our government would be our president trying to change our amendments that the founding fathers originally wrote back in 1791. The only thing that should be allowed to be done to amendments is editing them, but you should not be able to completely get rid of an amendment.

Government is universal. It is the air we breathe, the food we eat, the places we venture. Wherever we seek, it's always there, watching us, and waiting for our next move. Moreover, it affects what kind of health care my family gets, how much they get paid at their jobs, and if they can even afford the most simple commodities. If the government were to take a deep breath and submerge into the dark, murky water, essentially disappearing into the night, the consequences would be tremendous. The first day would be strange; waking up with no taxes, no rules, no care in the world. And it would be a glorious day at that. But as the days drone on, people start to realize that there's no structure in their lives. No mother figure to encourage you into trying something new, or a firm and supporting hand from a watchful father. Furthermore, our institutions would crumple, monarchies and dictatorships would rise, eventually shrouding our small world into darkness. Government is a light, though harsh at times, that guides us through life with measures in place to keep us in check.
The government is a big reason the country is in the position it is in right now. The government has been running from greed of wealth and
In order to prevent governmental corruption and ensure empathetic representation of the common American population, we propose that those elected into any federal government office should live on the yearly income of the average American with an advanced degree.
