An Argumentative Essay About 9/11

On the morning of September 11, 2001, two planes hijacked by al-Qaeda terrorists crashed into the symbol of military and capitalism; the World Trade Center (History.com). This attack killed approximately 3,000 people (History.com). One other plane crashed into the Pentagon and 125 people lost their lives in that attack (History.com). That day, referred to as 9/11, left a stain in the hearts and minds of many Americans. These attacks brought out the hero in a great deal of people, but many heroes died on that day, and those heroes will never be forgotten. Because of this tragic event, millions of American citizens were injured or have had to endure the lasting effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (History.com). This awful event is our hope for the future because it taught us we need to combat terrorism better and we are still fighting this battle today (History.com).

It’s crazy how something as small as someone’s beliefs can cause one of the biggest tragedies worldwide. All it took was more than a dozen terrorist, two planes, and a well thought out plan to create the catastrophe we call the 9/11 attack but they call a tremendous heroic event. This was simply an act of being at the right place at the wrong time. 9/11 could be seen all the way in space but was felt by the people in the smallest towns to enormous cities. Although the crashes on 9/11 happened in the amount 102 minutes the aftermath lasted about 99 days yet will never be forgotten among everyone everywhere. Those were truly 102 minutes that shook the world and for some it will never stop shaking.

September 11, 2001, 2,996 people died, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center crashed into by planes and fell, a part of the Pentagon was destroyed by another plane, and in a field in Pennsylvania a plane crashed. 9/11 is a day that will always be remembered for the tragedy that happened. After 9/11 happened the American people thought that it was the government’s fault for letting something like that happen to them, they wanted to know why the government ignored the warning signs that this was going to happen. They wanted the government to fix what had happened by whatever means necessary, so nothing ever happened like this again. Every American citizen can remember exactly where they were on the day September 11, 2001, this day was burned into the mind of American because the biggest terrorist attack in American history would occur. Two Boeing planes hijacked by a terrorist organization named al-Qaeda who would crash the planes into the world trades centers, sending America into shock(Pizzo,2016). There have been countless laws and regulations passed in America since the awful terrorist attacks on 9/11, has it been effective or a failure. The attack on September 11, 2001, will forever be a turning point in American history, it raised one of the most important questions in American society today what is more import for a citizen freedom or security and the law put in place to combat these horrific terrorist attack ultimately would be ineffective and tear American more apart on political issues.

September 11, 2001, the start of terrorism in The United States, and the end of innocence in our lives. Some of us are lucky to never know the fright of that horrid day. For others though, the events that transpired on September 11 will live on forever in their memory.

September 11th, 2001 is one of the worst moments that has ever happened for America. With the Death Toll of Approximately 3,000 people, 400 of them firefighters and Police Officers, this day is often remembered with memories of fear. I think that this is one of the most influence events in America’s History for many reasons. First, because of the death toll. Second, because of how it affects life even today.

Many people can look back and remember September 9th, 2001, like it was yesterday. This day will be forever remembered in America’s History. This is the day the world seemed as it stood still. On 9/11, America experienced a major terrorist attack, which hijacked planes were crashed into the World Trade Centers in New York City, crashed into the Pentagon in the District of Columbia, and had a plane crash into the fields of Pennsylvania.

On September 11th 2001 at 8:45 am flight 11 out of Boston, Massachusetts crashed into the North tower and made the tower come crashing down to the ground.Thousands of people died, Hundreds of people got injurys, and some people are still sick from it today. I know one person that worked on Ground 0 doing demolition that recently passed away and it was, my cousin's father.

Nine eleven, four planes, three buildings struck, over three-thousand killed, and two sides to the story. You're faced with a decision. Temperatures are rising, fires are spreading, and those around you are panicking running to the nearest exit. Holding their loved ones as they kiss life goodbye, they take a step over the ledge and jump…plummeting to their deaths. Do you jump or sit there and fade away into the flames?

September 11, 2001 will be remembered as one of the most horrible and unbelievable days ever experienced in the United States. It was a great Tuesday morning in New York and people were doing their normal routines. There were two World Trade Centers in New York that people worked in. They were all doing their regular jobs as every day but their ordinary day became something they had never expected. Out of nowhere in the sky came a jet and it headed directly for the North Tower.

The basis of discussion in this essay will propose arguments as to why the 9/11 attacks could not have been foreseen and consequently why the actions of the Clinton Administration and bureaucratic bodies under this presidency left bush in an unlucky position.

Everyone stands in awe and shock as they see, one shadow of a person jump, one by one of the two 110 story buildings. 9/11 is one of the U.S devastating moments. To many people died. The young and old. The events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001 has forever changed the world on every level that we as human beings live. It was one of the most devastating days that would change our nations history and life of every American family. This was one of the most hiatus acts of terror in our countries history, because of all the lives lost and the collapsing of the twin towers that was destroyed to what is related to as a metal grave. This act of hate was made by people who made the sick decision to take lives of all of our loved ones whether they worked in one of the towers or whether they were responders to save lives. September 11 known as 9-11 will never be forgotten from the terrible residue that is lived on a day to day as we travel for family vacations or as we entreat one another in our communities.

September 11th of 2001 is a day in history that will be remembered forever. What was first thought to be a freak accident turned into a horrific nightmare for our country, America was under attack. On the morning of the attacks a group of al Qaeda terrorists took control of four commercial jetliners headed to California and purposively crashed two into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. Have you every called 911? They many people go their life without ever calling 911. My first time calling 911 was when my grandfather on my dad’s side fell over and broke his head open all over the driveway. This memory tough me and really showed me that you should take time to enjoy the people you have before there gone.
