Throughout my childhood and up into my middle school years, I had a solid plan for my life: to be an air traffic controller. It seemed like the perfect career for me. I am a highly organized and alert person. I like structure and to have control over the situations that surround me. And, most importantly, I find great satisfaction in helping others to meet their objectives and safely land at their desired destination. Air traffic control was the only career for me. I had my whole life planned out, including the exact airport where I would work. No one or nothing could sway me from the goals that I had set for myself.

The career that I have chosen to pursue is Human Resources Management. When I started out on the path of “what I want to be when I grow up” I started in a completely different line of work. I wanted to be a Nurse when I graduated high school. I enrolled in college and I worked at a children’s hospital. After a while I started getting burned out by working long hours and on the weekend and I started to wonder if this was the right career that I wanted to continue with. The career is chose is nursing, I chose this career because I love helping people, I am avid about making sure people are getting everything they need, making sure they get all of their medication so they can get better and can live a healthy life, Being a nurse you will record patients medical history and symptoms, administer patients’ medicines and treatments, operate and monitor medical equipment, explain what they do when going home. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, talents needed salary and benefits offered and the duties for particular career when making this decision, with my help they could burgeon and get better.

A very skilled event organiser can recognise not only the good things of their event but can also see those things that went wrong or didn’t come out as expected. In order to become a successful event organiser the organiser should be able to make fair judgements about the event and make improvements for the next time. The organiser should be objective about their judgements they should see the mistakes with his or her mind not with his or her feelings.

Life is full of decisions. You have the choice to decide what you want to do for a career. Some may have jobs they wish they could change or made the decision before to have done something differently. The career you choose should be something you love, along with aspects that fit your values the best. Interest, skills, financially that you know you can excel in. A plan for life is important, so it’s best to know or have an idea on what you want to proceed in.

When it comes to someone picking a career, this can be complicated and sometimes even complex. When someone has finally chosen a career field, this just means that thy have decided that they have finally figured out what it is that they want to do in their life. It also means that they figured out that this career is something that they love and see their self-doing for a while, and it will be able to provide them with a comfortable lifestyle. The career I chose, is an Administrative Services Manager. This career involves a person who plans, directs or coordinates an organization’s support services. Such as recordkeeping, mail distribution, telephone and reception staff along with other office support services. I may also be in charge of overseeing the facilities, the planning and maintenance and custodial operations. This career is part of the business management administration. I plan to achieve this goal, in about 5-10 years, After I get my bachelor’s degree. I plan to live in Georgia or North Carolina, have a nice sized house, be married and have few children when I am financially stable enough to support a family. The career i choose was a professional bass angler. It's a career i've been interested in for a while and i think it's what i would like to do. I love swimming and fishing and being out on the water so i thought it would be perfect. A professional bass angler travels the world fishing in tournaments to see who catches the biggest 5 fish. There are team tournaments and then there are solo, i would like to do both.

My interest about event planning was kindled by my university experience. When I studied at Simon Fraser University, I had a chance to become the director of a student club and build my event planning skills through several projects. From that experience, I have learned that planning a successful event need to think ahead and ready to take all kinds of challenges. As a detail-oriented person who is also familiar with the event planning process. I am really interested in this community programming and event coordinator position.

Realizing the career that would be right for me. Would likely be a private/criminal investigator. Seeing that I am motivated and committed for a job like this it can become a widely problem-solving, communicational career for me. I’m willing to use my skills to help others in need in the criminal field. Pursuing this career it would allow me to always have something exciting happen daily and always be on my toes. Therefore, this is something that interests me a lot and I know it would be fun for me. As a private investigator, it requires much of schooling, ways to make sure you are a problem solver,and helping people with their cases of criminals and more that can get away from the trouble they had caused.

I would not have to travel far if I chose to work as an event planner. I have seen job postings in my area for event planners. I understand being an event planner requires long hours, I might have to work on the weekends, it could be stressful at times, but it would feel rewarding seeing the results of what I planned. According to the Lassi assessment I completed a couple of weeks ago, I do well at managing my time. If I become an event planner, I would need to be good at time management. One of my strengths from the strength quest assessment is empathy. I can feel what others are feeling as though their feelings are my own. If I become an event planner, I would need to feel what my clients are feeling. I helped my mom plan my sister's wedding. I enjoyed helping set up the reception hall, and making sure everything was in the correct spot. I could see myself having my own business as a wedding planner or working for a company that plans events. My communication-media degree would help me learn writing, oral, and organizational skills needed to become a successful event
