Halloween NIght It was Halloween night and Denim was propped up on is couch watching scary movies and eating chewy candy. Denim Jones is a 14 year old athletic boy, with a head of curly hair, sky blue braces, and he is 5’11 in the eighth-grade. He lives in a small part of Chicago called Screech.
His parents, Paige and Grayson Adams, were out on a date at an expensive restaurant called Goblins Soup for Halloween. Chase, one of Denim’s best friends called him up and asked him if wanted to go to a haunted trail and a clown sighting tonight with their other best friend Nollen. Denim and Denim’s friends all thought they were too old to go trick or treating since they are 14 years old. One thing Denim was scared of was clowns, his parents

The killer clown had on a rainbowfied onesie with long, bright red shoes on his feet. His face and clothes were covered with blood, even his knife.
“Run!” Denim screeched.
Everyone took off running after they saw what was behind them. Braiden’s shoe came off when he was running which slowed him down. That made him closer to the killer clown.
He screamed, “HELP! HELP!”
By now, the clown caught Braiden and started pulling him into the woods. Denim stood there watching his helpless older brother screaming and fighting the armed clown off with his bare hands. Denim started screaming for Braiden but it was too late, Braiden was gone. He (Braiden) was Denim’s idol and now he was gone.
“Honey? Denim?” Denim forgot about his mom still being on the phone. “Yes mom?” Denim shivered with red eyes.
“It’s okay, you will be alright. You can go to the haunted trail with your friends to get your mind off your brother, okay?” Paige spoke soothingly.
“ Ok mom.” Denim mumbled.
“Go get ready, you will be ok, alright?” Paige breathed out.
“ Alright mom, see you later.” Denim said.
“ Alright hun, see you later, be safe, and don’t forget to lock up. Bye. Love you.” Paige sand cheerfully to brighten Denim’s mood back up.
“Love you too.” Denim breathed out.
Denim hung up the phone. He went to his bathroom to wash his
Pony and Johnny disguised themselves by cutting their hair. Johnny washed his hair to get the grease off and Ponyboy bleached his hair.
“We do not fear the unknown. We fear what we think about the unknown.” Is a quote from Teal Swan. This idea is incorporated into a lot of director’s movies, however, Tim Burton, a creator of many famous movies, would probably have one of the best understandings of this idea. This is through Burton’s constant use of ideas about the unknown in many of his films. Yet, these ideas of fearing the unknown and curiosity of the unknown are especially prominent in Burton’s films such as The Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands. There are a great amount of techniques Burton uses to convey these ideas of the unknown, but Burton typically uses techniques such as some sort of misfit protagonist that is different than most people and a judgmental
To begin with,I researched and analyzed facts about the Haunting in Connecticut 2, a film that is based on a true story. It takes place in Georgia in a rural home and no one has previously lived on the land. The main Characters are Heidi, her mother(lisa),her father(Andy),her aunt(Joyce),Mr.Gordy(a nice ghost),the stationmaster(an evil ghost),and the ghosts of slaves. The writer was inspired to make this by the events surrounding the Wyrick house of Ellerslie, Georgia, which were published in the book The Veil: Heidi Wyrick's Story.
Pony gets out of the building alright, but Johnny was not as lucky. After beating the Socs in a big rumble, Pony and Johny’s “hero”, Dally, go visit him in the hospital. When he dies before them, Dally runs out and robs a store. He calls the other gang members to meet him in the park, but as they get there, they see him shot by the police. Pony is devastated and takes a long time to recover.
Well running away they are reunited with Dallas later they cross paths with a burning church action must be taken to safe some kids traped inside. Ponyboy goes into the church Johnny chooses to follow. They save the children but at a terrible praise Johnny is crushed by a rafter beam and breaks his back, Dallas and Ponyboy are also burned. Because they saved the kids, they became heroes; but that does very little to help Johnny who was put in critical care. When he hears of this Ponyboy becomes upset with himself for allowing Johnny to follow him. Well both Dallas and Johnny are in the hospital the whole gang become scared for them but ponyboy takes it the hardest this is displayed when they said “We both begged and pleaded.(119)” because they were unable to see Johnny. After Johnny’s health worsens Ponyboy goes into denial refusing to expect it. Ponyboy feels more guilty when it becomes clear Johnny will not make it this is inferred when it is written that ”He was pale as the pillow and looked
They kicked Johnny off to the side and started drowning Ponyboy in the fountain. Johnny
“[Johnny] was the gang’s pet, everyone’s kid brother” (Hinton, Page 12). S.E. Hinton’s realistic teen fiction novel, The Outsiders, is based on the life of 14 year-old Ponyboy, and his struggle to fit in and be accepted. He is constantly being stereotyped as a no good “hood”, as he is part of the greaser gang, and is facing tough changes. Johnny Cade’s choices and the consequences of those choices induce changes in Ponyboy’s personality and overall life. First of all, Johnny’s choice to kill Bob Sheldon- a member of the rival gang who was drowning Ponyboy- influenced Ponyboy’s thinking.
Joe-Boy and Vinny went to a reaven with their friends Starlene and Mo. They all weren't scared but Vinny about the dead boy’s body that could be in the ravine. Then they all jumped off a fifty foot ledge but Vinny.
My theme “Outsiders in society - how appearances can be deceiving” I think is very important to the film Edward Scissorhands; directed by Tim Burton, as the theme is repeated throughout the film. My theme has a general importance because its shows the other side of society that we don’t get to see or notice too often. The group of individuals on the other side constantly shows the challenges they face, and the different ways of living are often ignored because they don’t fit into the current society. This brings up a strong contrast and compare between what society defines as normal and what is abnormal. My theme tells us that their appearances are often deceiving and we should learn to to give them a chance. This means you are also more
In Woodbridge VA, there are many legends one of the most recent ones are about the killer clowns. I heard this story from my friend while we were walking through the woods. He said there were clown sighting in these woods recently. I asked him more and he told me the story. I didn't believe him at first so, I had to investigate. I wanted to know what the legend is, how the story came to being, and why people still believe it.
5. The Amityville Horror (1979) - A fusion of the occult, demons, and a supernatural haunting that is pretty characteristic of 70's haunting horror stories, but this one is based on a true story, which makes it just that much more interesting. This film followed the Exorcist in 1972 and the Omen in 1976, two of the earliest supernatural occult movies made with similar themes. This film, based on the book of the same name, recounts the experiences of the Lutz family, who claimed to encounter many horrors in their new home, which they bought at a significant discount, which was likely because the previous owners were brutally slaughtered along with their other children by their eldest son.
In an attempt to avoid arrest for the murder, Johnny and ponyboy ask for Dally’s help to run away. Dally sends them off with $50 and directions to a hideout on the outskirts of town. Johnny and Ponyboy hop onto a stopped freight train and get to their hideout where they wait until Dally comes to get them.
As the story continued, Ponyboy lost his innocence. Everything changed when the Socs attacked them at the park and he decided to fight back. Him fighting back ended with one of them dead. Pony and his friend decided to run from the police. In the process he went through hunger, fear, sadness, and many
“I remember waking up in the first morning a week before my birthday… your uncle was being a jerk and scaring me with the masks again. He knew that I hated it there. The way they moved, haunting, the sounds they made, twisting ‘fur’ as they sang and danced. My parents didn’t know about my fear and I was to afraid to tell them. So they arranged my birthday party there. I was hanging out with my best… only… friend and everyone picked on me because she was the new kid. She was the only other one besides my brother and his heathen friends who knew about my fear,” the old man's story went on for awhile until he got to the part where his brother started picking on him getting his friends to lift him up and give Fredbear a kiss.
The story follows the experiences of seven children as they are terrorized by an entity that exploits the fears and phobias of its victims to disguise itself while hunting its prey. The creature, or “It” primarily appears in the form of a clown to attract its preferred prey of young children. The story starts off during a heavy rainstorm in Derry, Maine, six-year-old George "Georgie" Denbrough is chasing a paper boat down a gutter. The boat is washed down a storm drain to the dismay of Georgie, who had received the boat as a gift from his older brother Bill. Peering into the drain, Georgie sees a pair of glowing yellow eyes. Startled, Georgie is suddenly confronted by a man dressed in a silver clown suit who introduces himself as "Mr. Bob Gray", a.k.a. "Pennywise the Dancing Clown".
